I totally got lucky. Unless he has priority overnight packages, he isn't usually here until around noon.
He probably has 4 times the packages to deliver today than usual so you may have to cut him some slack. He will get there. At least you get yours today. I have to wait until next week.

Me too!!! I should have just waited and went to a store to get one. Now it's going to be Monday or Tuesday.
Delivery exception! Orange, CA Status now says it will deliver by 8pm but I'm having it delivered to work and I'll be gone by 5pm... hope they can deliver it in time.
Just received shipment of the mine and the wife's iPads via FedEx. I'm on Long Island, south shore in Suffolk County.

I'm getting ticked off at Fedex.
My iPad is not even in my city yet. It's "on a truck from Phoenix." And to get the info I had to call and have them call my local office. Website shows it in Phoenix (4 hours away). One Fedex CSR said not all iPads making it today but mine "still looks good."
Still looks good? I could freaking have one right now. The local WalMart 5 minutes away has a bunch of the new iPads and I could have walked in and just picked one up. This is because I preordered. Had I not preordered Walmart would be sold out and Fedex would be delivering early.
EDIT: Literally seconds after I posted this message the tracking info changed to reflect that it had arrived in my city--finally!!!!

One would think with fuel costs going up and up that sooner or later "inter-spoke" routes might be practical.

Mine still says by 3PM so he's got just over 2 hours to make it. I'm guessing he doesn't since I live in midtown Atlanta and there are probably thousands of iPads being delivered today. Should have just gone to the Apple store since I'm wasting my entire day anyway...
