LOL, yeah, I kept hitting the back button when I would get an error trying to checkout, which is a no-no, but I finally got it through, hopefully just one order.. waiting for email now, yikes:D

Gave me 3 orders, so had to do some quick thinking. Went back and tried again and got the 1 order. Seems Apple is messing up on some of use with this double or triple orders.
 
Wow. I just flew through the Apple Store app on my iPhone. After, what, 3 hours of trying, it just took all of 2 minutes to order two iPads -- one black and one white 32GB wifi-only. Truly hoping I didn't, somehow, accidentally order another 32 of them... and one point there was a dozen or more of them in my cart!

Yeah. If you log into your account, you'll probably see that your order is still being processed. You won't be able to change the order, and you won't get the email until it has been processed.

Yes, to anyone that gets stuck on this screen, stay there! I was on it for 15 minutes before I got my confirmation email. Honestly, it stayed there another 20 minutes after. That's when I closed it. So wait until it finishes or you get a confirmation email.
 
funny - i checked ebay and there are already tons of listings for iPad 3-HD with prices that are 2-3X Apple's retail price. Free-market capitalism at it's finest. :)

LOL, so you're the reason why we all had trouble ordering, you had them all in your cart.... Totally kidding. That was pretty funny. :D

I just called the 800 number at the apple online store and ordered. Sales rep stated someone must be home on the 16th to sign!
 
How stressful!? It took me about 2.5 hours to finally get through and make it all the way to the last page of the checkout. One time I ended up having 6 in my cart, not nearly a record set though from what I read here!

So excited... now to figure out what to do with my iPad2... hmm...
 
How long till...

You think the pre-order ship date will jump to 1 or 2 weeks? I am waiting for a check to deposit back in and it won't hold my iPad with the card only:eek: Thoughts?
 
no problems here. first iPad ever and ordering was a breeze. 32gb wifi because I will not use/nor pay for on the go internet on an iPad, but I have always wanted one.

Got 32 gb AT&T.. App was a mess had luck on the website..
 
So I placed my order around 5:45-6 and still havent gotten a confirmation e-mail. Credit Card didnt get charged yet. Order status says "Processing" and I am starting to get worried. Anyone else been waiting this long?
 
I received the "Thank you for your order" email from Apple and the funds already have been taken from my account. Is that the confirmation email everyone is taking about? Does that mean I am guaranteed to receive it on the 16th?
 
Pretty nuts how smooth the Apple store is now after the meltdown this morning. Considering they are still available for delivery day of, kinda wished I'd just held off for a bit and got some work done instead of refreshing all morning.
 
Any idea why I can't modify the order? It says it's processing. Does this mean that I'm likely not getting the March 16 batch?

Spent 3 hours trying on the computer and through the iPhone app. Fail fail fail.

Then my sister decides to call in and the guy processed the order of 2 iPad 3rd gen for her.
Got confirmation email. Woot!

$1000 charge on my credit card...FML
