Same exact thing happened to me. BOA refused payment and my order was not processed by Apple. Had to go on Apple.com, cancel my order, and order again.
I use BOA also, through my BOA account is says the payment to Apple is processing. My conformation email through Apple, also says my order is still processing.
Did BOA alert you that they did not allow the payment?
If I have not received an alert my order should still be valid?
Thanks!

@HardCoreMuffin BofA called me a few mins after i ordered to confirm with an automated system and then later emailed me with instructions to call them. When I called I got a live person immediately and verified my info and explained the situation and they where cool and took off the fraud alert. Apple did did authorize (~$1100) my card as soon as I ordered for both of my orders a White and Black Wifi 16GB. Also I used my BofA Credit Card not Debit so for those of you who are using a BofA Debit card be aware that Apple authorizes the full amount immediately when you order and BofA treats an authorization as an actual charge so if you don't have the funds in your checking account they will reject the charge.
I ordered a 16GB White Wifi at 8:50pm EST today (3/8/2012) and it has been showing 'Preparing for Shipment' already. That's less than 3 hours.

I think all orders marked prepared for shipment today, ship tomorrow from China, Arrive in the US days later, sit at fed ex regional hubs until the 14, then ship out for delivery our doorsteps on the 16![]()
That's the feeling I got as well, guess it doesn't matter when it leaves China, it's not supposed to reach us until the 16th.
I wonder why Apple would not like it to reach any earlier though, is it something about having people line up at the stores or something?
The actual availability date isn't supposed to be until the 16 so Apple tries their best to keep that promise, but a few slip through every time. I bet the first one will be delivered the 14th.
Yeah I understand that. I'm just wondering why Apple supposedly doesn't like it if it reaches any earlier.
mostly because of the better camera.

My wifi iPad is preparing do shipment while my LTE iPad and new apple tv is still processing.
I'm guessing I'll be getting mine on the 16th with the masses. I've yet to receive anything ipad, iphones, etc. before launch day.
Mine updated to "Preparing for Shipment" today.
32GB black wifi with engraving.
