I actually just haven't updated my signature. My Ipad 32GB was given to my daughter and my Ipad 2 is a 16gb given to my wife. I found the 32GB was overkill for me and the 16GB is plenty
 
how long did some of yours say preparing for shipment before it actually shipped? i hope mine ships tomorrow or maybe even tonight :)
 
ah, this type of thread again! I remember the hundreds upon hundreds of pages for iPhone 4S pre-orders...fun times.

So, without further ado: 16GB White iPad+4G with AT&T. Purchased as fast as the store could take it - aka 5:00ish on the 7th. Got the Apple confirmation at 5:32pm EST. Order is still processing...BUT my AppleCare+ portion of the order is complete! Yay!
 
My 32 GB Wi-Fi Black just switched to Preparing for Shipment in the last 10 minutes. Black Leather Smart Cover will arrive tomorrow.
 
Arg... it seems like the 64GB+3G/4G are always the last to prepare to ship :( I think it was the same way for the ipad1 and ipad2... or maybe it's just me.

I hear from a good source that your New iPad is being used to play "Words With Friends" by a dock hand and he won't pack it till he beats his buddies.. all 12 of them. :D
 
16 gig black wifi is "Preparing For Shipment" no conformation email's though, i don't remember getting them for the iPad 2 or the iPhone 4 so not really surprised.
 
Just got a status update on my 64GB wifi: Preparing for Shipment! Yay! I wasn't expecting this until the weekend, or beginning of next week.

SmartCover will be here tomorrow; dock on Tuesday. APP already delivered (not that it means much, since it's electronic).

(and I agree with the previous poster - this has been a traditional thread for product launches and is part of the excitement! I'm sure we'll see a separate thread for tracking flights, too!)

BOA put a fraud alert on my card when I purchased mine. No email confirmation yet and the Apple site says "We've received your order."

WHen i called BOA to verify that I made the purchase, the agent wasn't sure if the payment was processed. The amount came in at $0.00, which she believed was a test charge.

Hopefully all goes well and I don't lose out on my order. Next time I'll just use my damn CC. Try to not charge something... ish happens.
 
32gb White Wifi ordered at 1:00pm PST yesterday after the keynote just changed to preparing for shipment.
Yay even though I'm expecting to wait until next friday anyways.

Same exact thing happened to me. BOA refused payment and my order was not processed by Apple. Had to go on Apple.com, cancel my order, and order again.

You may be okay. If Apple says they've received you order, then I assume they've received your payment. As soon as it goes to prepared for shipment, you know you're good to go.
