The New iPad Pre-Order Status Thread (USA) - All Models

Mine still says "processing". Question, to everyone that has "preparing for shipping", or "shipped", what shipping option did you pick? I picked free shipping, so maybe that's why mine hasn't moved yet. :eek:

My 32 GB White Verizon iPad order is Processing. I ordered today was thinking they would be sold out but says delivery on the 16th :)

Uh, when the iPad originally came out there was no retina on anything. The iPhone 4 was not even announced then.

You won't get it early, Apple gives carriers specific instructions NOT to deliver the iPad prior to 16th.

but some people will get it a day early by carriers mistake..maybe two days early .. like every time !
 
Got my White 16GB Wifi order in. Spent quite a bit on the site grueling over if I wanted to do it.

So what's this about receiving orders early that I hear about?

Last year I got my Verizon iPhone 4 three days earlier than launch. Then again that wasn't a new product, just new for Verizon.

It's a possibility, but don't get your hopes up. Some might get lucky, but most will have to wait until launch.

I believe they did come down on Fedex when the iPhone 4 was released and some were delivered several days in advance.

But I think they sort of look the other way when it is only a day early. Let's face it Apple needs UPS and Fedex to pull off these massive rollouts. It's not like they have someone else to go to.

Finally mine changed to " Preparing for Shipment " i ordered around 2:30-3:30 pm EST. White 64GB iPad Wi-Fi!
 
Ordered 2:

ipad 16GB wifi - preparing for Shipment
iPad 32gb wifi +4G(v) - Processing

the 4G was ordered an hour earlier than the wifi-only. Mayhaps they are shipping in pallet batches and are currently on the 16GB Black Wifi's
 
Just got an email stating my 32gb white wifi has shipped. Tracking number and all. Can't wait!!
 
Still processing... 64GB 4G (Verizon) - Black

Everything hit my CC, though. And my SmartCover already shipped. Just a matter of time now.

I dont think there was any other option except for maybe in-store delivery.

My White - 64g - 4G - no engraving is still at "Processing Items" ... Now I know why that apple has that missing part.... :apple:
