Black 64gb WIFI only 3rd gen iPad, status was just changed to "Preparing for Shipment" One more step toward the new toy. Unlike a lot of people I hope it gets delivered on the 16th because I don't have a day off until then, I work evenings, and would hate to come home and see a notice left on the door saying they tried to drop it off but I wasn't here. I also don't have any neighbors that I trust well enough to hold onto my new expensive electronic toy so pre-signing for the shipment isn't really an option. Unless the shipment can get to my house by 2pm, I won't be here and will have to wait till Friday if they try to deliver it early.
64gb 4g engraved. never got an email but just now got "one of your items has shipped!" (and the ipad is all I ordered).

I ordered a White 32gb WiFi only new iPad on the announce day, and it went from processing to shipped today, with a delivery date of the 16th, via UPS

thank god because ups sucked last time didn't know where it was till it got to USA. There was also no estimate date from them either. Got shipped confirmation email at 2:46 am cst it says.

64gb white AT&T still processing. Apple rep said that they already got my CC authorization but will not charge the card until it ships. She also said that because it's not engraved it will ship from a local warehouse so I may not get the shipping notice until next week, still slated for March 16 delivery. If engraved it ships from overseas as engraving is done during manufacturing process.
Yes, it did... I'm sorry I didn't mention that; it was "Prepared for shipment" for most of the day yesterday...
Mine has now shipped via FedEx... tracking number not working yet but I'm sure it will shortly. Ordered Wednesday 3/7 @ 2:50pm CT.
After the BOA issues, I received my confirmation email after midnight.

Cancelled my 16gb white order when I woke up this morning and replaced with a 32gb white

How are the expected pre-order dates looking now that we are on Day 2 post announcement? Any further slippage other than the white models that have moved to March 19?
Like many other folks mine says preparing for shipment and I ordered on the 7th. This will replace my iPad 2 16gb I ordered 32gb wifi only this time and thinking of retiring my sons iPad 1 and upgrading him to my iPad 2.
