just got an email that mine has shipped, complete with Fedex tracking #. Of course, tracking number not working yet

It might take as much as a day for the number to start working... but congrats.
Ordered my 64GB black wifi on wednesday at 12:45pm PST and still says processing
I ordered AppleCare+ with it and that has already gone through and charged my card
woo! Prepped for shipment now!
Mine moved to Preparing for Shipment this morning. Ordered about 3:30-4:00 Eastern on the 7th (as soon as I could get into the store site). 64GB Verizon black.
To elaborate: With mine, I placed an initial order on the 7th (day of the announcement) and then called Thursday morning to change to a different model. So perhaps that kept my place "in line" if there is such a thing in this process.
Either way, as others have noted, this whole process is fun but somewhat meaningless because 99.9% of people who have a delivery estimate of March 16 will get theirs on March 16.
It is fun to anticipate, though! I'm certainly refreshing every hour anyway!
Still processing... 16GB Black Verizon LTE to Central New York. I got my order in Wednesday around 4:00PM EST over the phone
The case I ordered with it shipped almost immediately, it will arrive via Fedex today.
The Fedex driver called and left a message this morning to tell me I'd be receiving a COUPLE packages which need to be signed for. Obviously, one is the case... But the other? Perhaps an iPad slipped out with it!
... Yeah, probably not. The second package is probably some clothes my fiance ordered. She's been on an online shopping spree.

Mine switched to Preparing for shipment last night around 12 am Est. I ordered the 32GB Black AT&T. No engraving. Ordered at 3:45 PM EST on the 7th.

I'm brand new to the iPad camp - i ordered my LTE 64GB model on the 7th around 12pst and yet the WXXX order page still shows IN PROGRESS...
Anyone else having this "issue" if that there is one?
Makes me nervous because I want one on release day of course. March 16 is still showing as being delivered.

This is my first iPad and i'm glad i waited for this instead of buying the iPad 2!
