Yeah I'm on the same boat, my dad's shipped and mine is still processing 😡 and it's kind of annoying me to death. Is this normal?
I'm sure everything is just fine, we'll all get our iPad's on March 16th, whether they ship now and sit at FedEx or ship a little later.
32 wifi-only is prepared to ship to brooklyn.
note that may only be interesting to me: i also ordered a smart cover and the closer it gets the further the day gets pushed back. it arrived in brooklyn overnight and is now do to deliver next wednesday.

Yes, normal I remember all the stressing last year about the iPad 2 preorders. In the end, people pretty much got them on the day they were promised regardless of when their status changed or when they got their shipping notice. I stress about so many things that potentially really matter that stressing about this is stress relief.

If your smart cover arrived in Brooklyn today, and is being delivered to Brooklyn, chances are you will get it Monday. There should be no reason why not. At least for a smart cover. The iPad however, will be delivered on the 16th at the earilest. I think the days of receiving a product the day before it's actually released are over.

What?? You would think they would be processed in order of when the order was placed.
Black 64GB ATT slipped to "ship by March 19th" sometime yesterday. Everything else looks the same.
BTW, pretty easy to check directly by going to the Apple Store and starting to order different configurations ... dates come up easily.
Apple did not take pre-orders for the iPad 2.
This happens with every pre-order. Some people's ship early, some ship later. My iPhone 4S didn't ship until 2 days before I received it (launch day).
You must mean iPhone 4S as the iPad 2 had no preorders and launched at 5 p.m. on a friday.

I went to bed AND woke up happy with the 16gb, but then I saw all the threads here about "16gb won't be enough, blahdy blahdy."
My 16gb iPad2 was more than enough for me, but I'd rather not risk it, when it's only $100 more to upgrade.
Me too. 64GB ATT Black order placed around 4pm or so CST March 7th, deliver to Minnesota.

After experiencing the orders for every version of the iPhone and also of the iPads I have learned that there is, from our viewpoint, no rhyme or reason for what units and when those units go through the shipment process... but I have always rec'd my unit on the right delivery date regardless of the process.
