The New iPad Pre-Order Status Thread (USA) - All Models

Mines was shipped out early this morning. Estimated delivery 16th. Place the order Wednesday night. IT a White 16GB iPad 3 with engraving.

Just ordered 10 minutes ago. First Apple purchase since about 1984, Apple
2e. Wi-Fi 32gb Black. Leather smart cover plus Apple Care.Now the waiting begins.
 
Still on Processing, ordered mine on 3/7 at around 4 PM.

64GB 4G (Verizon), Black. No personalization.

Smartcover did ship already, and all the charges hit my CC.

I'm in NJ.
 
I just placed my order this morning. It still gave me a receive date of the 16th. Is there a chance that might change?

When everyone updates their status, can you please mention when you placed your order? It might help others, like myself.

Ordered a 32GB White Verizon yesterday around one pm and status just went to preparing for shipment !!
 
Based on the last few pages, seems like the Northeast (NY, NJ, PA) hasn't had theirs shipped yet.

I ordered at around 4PM EST on March 7, still on Preparing for Shipment since last night at around 7PM. I'm in Philly.

Mine still says processing. I haven't even gotten a confirmation email yet. I called MY-APPLE and they said my order was in and I should get it on the 16th. I hope so!

Update: I just logged in and it says preparing for shipment. I'm so excited. I do NOT like not having an iPad. (Such a first world problem..lol)

My 32GB WiFi/AT&T LTE still processing. Ordered around 3:00 pm on 3/7, no engraving. My leather SmartCover shipped already - originally said delivery on 3/14 and now it says 3/10. Any chance we could get the iPad earlier than the 16th?

A lot of people are in the same boat (including me 64GB/4G/VZW/Black in CA). Apple never fails to deliver on or before launch day though... and this is coming from a guy who has bought at least 2 of every ios device ever. (mostly for work) I still get nervous - but my rational side is confident for 3/16. :)
 
so now that everyone is pretty much getting in the preparing for shipment/shipped state (me=16gbwifi pfs) the big thing is who will get theirs first?! ya everybody is assuming if it will come early or on 16th, but what if lets say, i had my ipad shipped to a friends address that lived in china? surely, it wouldn't take that long to ship to them. Maybe one day, then overnight it/two day ship from china to chicago? i mean i'm just saying hypothetical, but as much as apple tries to control delivery dates, they can't control it for the whole world, and i'm sure countries much closer to china were people are ordering ipads, they surely should get them by monday. i wouldn't be surprised if we saw unboxing videos on youtube by mon/tues.

I called 1800myapple - and confirmed, shipping will be guaranteed for my order on March 16, 2012. They just didn't update the page for my LTE 64GB model because they have batches that are already in the states.

I'm in Washington and my ipad has said "Preparing for Shipment" since about 8pm yesterday.
 
I ordered mine the afternoon of the 7th, when the Apple Store came back on line, and I still get "Processing Items". This is for the AT&T LTE 32GB in white.

What is going on? I want the iPad to ship and in my hands on or before the 16th!:mad:
 
I ordered mine today morning, iPad 16GB WiFi White. The status has changed to processing a few hours ago. I'm in Springfield, NY. Anyone here from NY has ordered today and status says shipped?

Oh the delivery date is 16th so far, but I'm afraid if it would be delayed :confused:

Me as well. Still processing and I ordered around 4pm. Same setup as you and still processing.

I ordered a 32gb and a 16gb iPad in the same order on announcement day.. Today I got an email that the 16gb shipped.. 32gb is still processing. Wtf?
