Yes! I've been lurking in this thread pretty much since it's inception and had to make an account to post.
We can read all we want, but can't really change much. This thread does help to pass the time, though.

None of the first day orders are shipping from China.
Glad to hear yours has changed, but mine is still at processing.
I'm not really worrying though, I have been through this a few times now between iPhones and iPads and Apple has always come through. Just the OCD kicking in.

I noticed a few Chicago/general IL area posts stating that they had a tracking number that had yet to be updated in FedEx. I'm in the same situation. Received my shipping email early Friday morning, but its been a dead number since. Only thing I can think of is that maybe since there are a number of Apple stores in the area, ours could just be waiting to ship at the same time the stores will get their inventory shipped to them. Basically one huge shipment that will get divided accordingly at the appropriate stage. Just speculating along with everyone... Its nice to read that I'm not the only one.
Also, just wanted to say, this is waaay better then standing in line at some godforsaken hour of the morning in the cold waiting (hoping) to be one of first to get an iPad. I don't feel like I'm missing anything. I'm watching the Bulls game while typing this.

Just received my order confirmation email after 48 hours from placing order and a request from apple support for a manual push of the email. Unfortunately, order status is still at processing.
Mine too now. I wish they would just ship it! Lol. But I can wait till Friday.
Ditto. Mine's sitting 4 hours away in Nashville. *sigh* First time I've ever ordered or pre-ordered from Apple. I took Thursday off just in case they ship a day early; I don't want it to arrive and not be home if it does.
Can anyone confirm that those who've received their Shipped notifications ordered engraved iPads?
Here in Australia engraved models have been shipping from China, and non-engraved models still on 'Processing Items'.

I ordered in the 1st hour (32GB Verizon) and my order still shows as preparing to ship.
I'm in the Los Angeles area and after reading this thread there are a lot of shipments from Ontario CA. If I had to bet, there is a high chance people in So-Cal wont see any activity on their orders till mid-week since our iPad's are sitting in Ontario and probably wont ship out until Thurs night.
People close to other places where Apple has staged iPad's for distribution wont see any activity as well.
Either way we are all waiting till the 16th.
