Right, well, considering your nickname, avatar picture and a very eloquent style of your posts, the fact that I am even trying to have a rational discussion with you probably means thats the joke is on me. I guess by 'younger people' you mean 12 year olds? ;)

So when you have nothing left to defend yourself you have to mock me??
That does neither sound very eloquent nor happy! Sounds more like a 12 year old fanboy!

The guy in the avatar pic is Joe Rogan:

He is among many things a standup comedian, his new standup special on Netflix is called "Triggered"
The title "Triggered" awfully sounds like the state you are in, when someone points out the shortcomings in the latest MacBook Pro release!

But let us not start a flaming war in this fine forum. Let us agree to disagree. What do you think?

PS: I ordered a new 15" because I need it for work. I am a self-employed adult FYI
You know there is a lot of stuff not to like about the new MBP but there is also a lot to like about it! And as usually the new machine looks very "sexy". I think we can agree on that?

I stand by my evaluation: They don't understand that "getting thinner and thinner until you stop working" was not a visionary design statement, it was cancer.

Yes, the craziness on thinness certainly also has bad side-effects!

Edit: LOL holy **** I just watched the video you posted. Ahah ahah I almost fell out of my chair watching it. Great video.

I think it was certainly not meant to polarize but to point out some shortcomings with a sense of humor ;-) But then again who cares!

Not surprised, but they are selling. Kuo must be reading the various forums for this analysis.

They are selling by the looks of it because in this new interview with Schiller, he states the following "Rebutting critics, Schiller announces that orders for the new MacBook Pro have set a new online sales record, beating previous sales for ‘pro Apple notebooks" This more or less confirms what i said yesterday, that they are selling, shipping dates have slipped from 2-3 weeks to now 4-5 weeks on Apple's website.

They are selling to people who were clamoring for a new MacBook. Why don't we see if those sales continue or fall off a cliff?

Even the Wii U sold well initially

the greedy mofos at apple should be giving all those adapters for free to every single person who purchases the new MBP to help them through the transition and justify the atrocious prices... but nope.

They rather remove the charger extension to save another 19 cents.

Macbooks are great - however Apple did 3 things wrong

Price is 10-15% too high even for Apple
No full pro option (32 GB, GPU)
Too strict or hard move to USB-C

If they had included a free USB-C to A adapter at least or left the USB-A ans SD-Cars on the right i am sure the outcry would be much less.

Not sure if any of this makes the execs dinosaurs.

imagine him getting outed from the iKingdom like Forstall too, :O
If I remember correctly, he can't be kicked out, Jony got a Super Star from Steve that makes him invincible. Forstall just had a Mushroom.

I go so far and say that Jony is the real (inner) CEO, and has more power than all of them together.
If Jony say No it's No, and Tim is just a public Firewall.

all this crap talk about the graphics card is hilarious. The AMD ATI 460M is the best graphics card within apple's thermal limits available on the market. That's pretty much it, end of topic.
