This color is so cool… I’m completely swapped out.
I did have couple of issues:
1. Transfer was getting stuck on my 12PM… saying that transferring to 13PM, 8 minutes. I rebooted both the devices. 13PM is online and seems to have everything. All my apps launches fine and I’ve already set them up so I said F it. Must be a glitch that it’s getting stuck at that transferring mode. Anyways this is resolved.
2. my Apple Watch doesn’t get recognized so I can’t use the watch to unlock feature :(. The watch works tho, it’s paired to 13PM. I just can’t activate the watch unlock feature. Hopefully Apple releases a fix soon.

All in all I’m settled into this new phone. I love it. I don’t notice the smaller notch as much cuz I was used to the notch anyways but it’s a welcome addition. Im very pleased with the cool tone of the screen too. My 12PM was on the warmer side. I did notice the “S” series phones tend to have cooler tone on their screens, 4s, 5s, 6s… is this a coincidence? Or they actually manufacture better cooler screens for the S series.

I love the Sierra blue. It’s like a chameleon, certain angles it’s gray, certain angle it’s light blue, and sometimes silver. They freaking nailed this color. Again, the best color Apple had put out so far in addition to the 5S Gold (my fav before Sierra blue lol)

Agreed, this and Jet Black (in pro models).

Glad so many people are happy with the color. Personally I am hugely disappointed. Thought it looked awesome during presentation and on their website. To me it’s too greyish blue, has no pop. I thought last years pacific blue was awesome. I am strongly considering returning it for the silver which I usually take. Or even just go back to my 11 pro max as I am overall quite underwhelmed with this device. A bit heavy, hoped pro motion would have a bigger effect on me, camera bump quite ridiculous.

I hear ya. But hey that’s the beauty of having options. IMO all the pro max colors are equally eye catching.

100% agree with OP. Just got to see it in person, that solidified my choice, it’s by far one of the nicest colors I’ve seen, 2nd was the Midnight green I never got to appreciate.
Bru I saw this in person when I picked up my phone. I knew I made the right call, the phone is stunning AF. can’t rave enough how good looking this color is.

Sun came out a bit today.

I have the iPhone 12 in blue, and was underwhelmed, so I've now got the iPhone 13 in 'starlight' and the iPhone 13 Pro in gold (which isn't really very gold at all). I liked the pictures of the blue iPhone 13 but didn't want to risk getting something as 'meh' as the iPhone 12 blue. My loss?

In person, it's a few shades darker and grayer than in most of Apple's marking images, but I like it. The stainless steel sides are definitely darker than on my silver iPhone 12 Pro.

Overall I'm happy, but I still wish Apple would offer a true matte black phone rather than the brownish-dark grey they do now.

Some poorly taking photos:

Also - question for Pacific Blue owners, are all of the color pros more durable than Silver? If I remember, the colored stainless steel options have a special coating that the silver does not. I know my Space Grey iPhone 11 Pro was near flawless after a year while my Silver 12 Pro looked terrible.

Apple mentioned their "special process" for the blue, but should it be as durable as graphite?

I ended up keeping it. Mostly because the Graphite for some reason, doesn't do anything for me. I like it but it just feels so 'blah'.

This does look better in person than in photos as others have mentioned. I don't even know how to describe it, it's almost not a color you can put into words.

This looks like a liquid metal sort of look on the band, and and iridescent cool silver/grey quality on the back. I do still wish it looked more like the blue in the promo photo. I miss the saturation. It does reach that color, but more if you are looking at it from a distance, not so much when you look at it while you're using it.
