Heh, I googled ipod touch 4g again and Redmond Pie's site displayed the same photo. Everything spreads so quickly on the Internet.
Yeah, I haven't seen that same pic, but some similar to that. I think that the pic of the front of the iPod Touch is going be similar to the official 4G, I'm just excited when the leaked pics of the back of the new Touch come out, to see what it looks like.
Eh, I don't think the Touch will ever have a bigger display than the iPhone, so I think were stuck with the same size and a possible Retina, but I'm not getting my hopes up. We will al know when September 8th or 9th arrives.
Hey, I would be glad if the new Touch just got a front facing camera, but who knows? I think it will just get the 3.2MP iPhone 3GS camera, to differentiate from the iPhone 4, maybe no Retina either.
For those of you who have looked at the Alibaba link: If you zoom in on the black cable of the 2nd screen, one can almost distinguish the lettering "APPLE (C) 2010". I just noticed that after looking at it a second time.

If it has only one camera it should be the back one, it will be used alot more. But if there is only one, it will be the front one for FaceTime which should be free.

If you're talking about the previous iPod touches, I think so too because there seems to be less space between the screen bounds and the edge of the digitizer compared to all previous iPod touches.

You think the active screen size is larger than the previous models? Ill look again. **Edit** I dont think that the white paperish material on the first one is measuring the actual screen size, its too good to be true. And i cant tell on the second one, it blends in too well. **Edit** Just FYI this thread has the 4th most responses in the iPod Touch forum, were going for #1!
I wonder if the new iPod touch will be a little bit faster than the iPhone. I seem to recall the 2nd gen iPod touch having more ram or something that was faster than the iPhone in it.
That would be nice but i guess its ok, but theres always room for improvement!

I have a countdown! 
I just looked at the tech specs of the Touch vs the 3GS on apple.com and noticed that the Touch doesn't come near the 3GS in terms of battery life. Only 6 hours of video compared to 10. I hope they can make the battery life on par with the iPhone 4 in the new iteration.

Actually I think they're more akin in terms of specs, not design. Although every time the iPhone gets a redesign, the iPod would get a redesign of it's own.
