Yeah, but it depends on how big the change is going to be. Would they want to hype-up a minor update? (if it is one?)

The final developer build of 10.5.2 that was released today HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A FEW DAYS! This may have been so they could install it and test it on the new MBP. We can only hope...
 
I really doubt the engineers at apple were just like "Well... I'm tired of doing this. Let's just release it today randomly." They've had it long enough that they are confident of it.

thats true 2 but i think it will be a major update cause I believe that the pro's were going to launch with the air but the chips weren't up. so Apple is letting air get its fair run...then its PRO time...
 
With 10.5.2 just being released, all the new MBP will have it preloaded. Apple isn't going to send you a brand new computer with 10.5.1 on it and make you update. I'm really hoping for tomorrow, but it's most likely another week or two. I would think they would have a stockpile already once released. If they announce tomorrow with a 2 week until shipping date that would be good enough. I just need this to be over. I want my MBP!!!

I honestly wouldn't mind too much if there was a 2 week delay. At least I would know they were coming!

It's actually the custodian stumbling around in the dark looking for the light switch. He accidentally hits a very important switch on a very important computer which shuts down the store...Hey! This happened last week!
Here we go again, pink MBPs just in time for Valentine's Day.
 
In stores in Australia, the current line of MBP's have sold out completely.

Yes but theres a time and place to do it. There are threads dedicated for that.
 
Seriously for all you people our there who are basing your hope or disappointment on what other people say, don't! What do they know? They are simply expressing their opinions, which 99.9% of the time is going to be wrong. They are just fellow fans like you and me and they have no idea when the MBP will be released, why there will be delays and what factors will contribute to a release. They don't even know what the specs will be. They can predict and they can guess but I wouldn't go mindset on what they have said because they are just opinions, speculations and predictions.
 
Shipping time for MBP atm is '24hrs' could this mean they are trying to get rid of the MBP's ready for tomorrow.
