Not necessarily...

We have no idea where UNIT are based, and Jack moved Torchwood permanently to Cardiff. The TARDIS would have been moved to one HQ or another.

If memory serves... UNIT's UK HQ is out in the country somewhere – and their main HQ is in Geneva. Even if the TARDIS was somewhere that was irradiated – and it would surely have survived the Titanic incident – I'm sure that UNIT would have spared no effort in recovering such a valuable artefact.

Yeahh but..
Rose was involved by then and she has a key/absorbed the time vortex/has been a companion, surely the TARDIS would of recognized that and let her in, if not that then The Doctor used to work for UNIT so he could of left instructions to get inside if such an event where to occur.

Well what can I say? That was actually really good. I loved it, especially the whole tiny change thing. And it's true. A tiny thing CAN change the world.

Me walking a different way to get to the Bus stop tomorrow could change the entire course of History (Although, probably not...)

And next week... well, just looks fantastic. AND ** ----------------------DAVROS-----------------------------** (<-- BIG spoiler) is back!!! There was a very short clip at the end of Dr.Who Confidential revealing this. (sorry if this has already been posted)

And anyone else see the Red Dalek in the preview of next weeks one? And was it just me or was one of the Daleks laughing? (Edit: yeah, I think so :D) I can't wait! Edit: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/ (Nice close-up shot of it) looks very interesting.

One thing that really did highlight how terrible... the world without the Doctor was... as if it wasn't bad enough having your home blown up by a flying Titanic and having practically everyone you know killed, you're then sent to Leeds! Words just can't describe how horrible such a fate must be.

Well it could have been worse... they could have been sent to Hull. :p

Sorry, couldn't resist! haha :)

Oh, and... that cockroachy alien thing looked awful. You just know there was a stagehand crouching beneath the camera wiggling it. :D

Yeah :D And there was another one pulling on Donna's jumper as well :p

Good old Dr.Who!

I'm going through the trailer like a nerd.

All of these images are spoilers (to people who haven't seen the trailer). Do not click if you don't want it spoilt.

What's that I see coming through the Torchwood door?

Ok, not really a spoiler but I found it amusing; Billie Piper possessed ;)

The J'doon

A leathery hand causing an explosion (explosion right after this clip, I assume they're related.)

Smoke? Door? Trapped for many years? Oh Davros, you old cliché! :D

TARDIS on fire

Looks epic.

No, it's the Weeping Angels that do that to you. Do keep up. :D

Thanks for the heads up ;)

Ooo, ta for that. :)

One thing I've not mentioned before, but I think Bernard Cribbins has been absolutely fantastic this series. A brilliant actor and he's stolen many of the scenes he's appeared in.

It's quite appropriate too that he's going to be present during a Dalek invasion of Earth... ;)

True
Maybe his secret Womble Army will be Earth's salvation:)

I may need a new pair of pants...

O-o

-------

This is going to be sweet! I was disappointed when I found out Russell T Davies had written it (I think we can all agree that he has been one of the weaker writers of Doctor Who's return) but I considering he wrote the last two, I think he may pull it off and make his final Doctor Who episodes his best. This is what it's all been leading up to. I can't wait :D

He is brilliant isn't he.
I always loved stuff he was in when I was a kid.

Not sure if this has been discussed previously in this (massive) thread, but does anyone else find it extremely irritating that the BBC change the start time of Doctor Who seemingly at random every week?

6.20, 6.30, 6.40, 7.00, 7.05... just pick a slot and leave it there!

I really want to know how, when donna turned right, there was even a proper earth to form a parallel world around.

if the doctor died and effectively erased the third and fourth seasons, who stopped the three events in the past that could have potentially destroyed the earth?

Did Shakespeare stop the Carronites in 1599 on his own?

Who stopped the Daleks in the 1930s? Torchwood? UNIT?

Who erupted Mount Vesuvius in Pompeii to stop the Pyrovials from turning the earth into molten paradise?

Doesn't make sense... the history of the earth dating back to 79 AD was dependent on the doctor meeting donna.

Speaking of specials
Apparently episode 13 "Journey's End" is weighing in at 65mins

add that to the 50mins of episode 12 and that's basically a feature length movie

Of course, if the world had been destroyed/conquered/whatever in the past, Donna most likely wouldn't have been born in the first place so that would be all paradoxy. Maybe the beetley-beast had some sort of defence mechanism that stops such paradoxes and protect its host from not existing, or somewhere along the line some heroic type stepped in to save the day.

Just say 'time is in flux' and that works. It does for the Doctor, at least. ;)

CortexRock... I thought it a little odd that no one seemed to notice her sudden appearance too, but I suppose that – given the time travel technology was based on stuff they'd gleaned from studying the TARDIS – there could be a perception filter-type thing going on.

I hope you're not insinuating that Leeds is a horrible place to live, because if you are step out your door step and take a look at Hull. Leeds is a great place to live. Great Uni's, nice countryside surroundings...

I missed the first 20min on Saturday due to the time change. V. annoying. But thank Gebus for iPlayer :D

Excellent, that's great news! I love epic finales...

Really seem to be getting our monies worth. Or rather the money they saved on the Midnight episode ;)

Annnnnnnnnnd... unclench :p
