Mine is also on the truck for delivery. Sitting here waiting for it. Just looking out the window. What a saddo I am....

The Purolator guy just showed up with Leopard! 10:15 am and it's sitting here on my desk. Time to boot up the MacBook and install!

Mine is the full retail version. Hey, this box is pretty shiny/hologramy/cool looking.

Shiny!

Wow, that was scary. The first time I inserted the install DVD into my MacBook, nothing happened. It just sat there. I hit the eject button, and the disc wouldn't come out. I hit it again, and it finally decided to pop out. I put it back in, and it finally worked. I clicked on install and it's rebooting right now.

Wait, now it says "Delivery exception: future delivery requested" those idiots at the front desk of my building better not have messed this up!

Mine says the same thing. I called FedEx and they said the driver was just having a difficult time finding my house, but I have a yellow house and it is NOT hard to find...

Mine says that too!! And, now instead of delivered by 10:30am, it's been moved back to by 1:00pm.

FedEx just called me back and they said Apple has shipped so many that they know FedEx can't deliver them all by 10:30. So... Apple has given them permission to ship them later, as long as it is delivered on the same day.

She said mine should be delivered in about an hour....

Thanks for the update, good to know so i don't get mad at the poor desk staff.

Though one thing about the later delivery doesn't make sense to me. I talked to the desk staff and know that FedEx dropped off other boxes at my building at 10:21am. Why drop off other stuff and delay delivering my box??

mine was out for delivery at 7.44

its now 16.00 (im in the UK)

on the delivery page (of the delivery company, not apples) it says 'out for delivery' and also 'please call this number... for more information'. dont know what to do. why would i want more info for something thats out for delivery?

ok, phoned them, and all it is is 'its out for delivery, and being delivered up until 9pm'. why cant they just tell me that by website 'track n trace' system?

I guess it is possible that the local FedEx facility didn't properly sort all packages and your's wasn't lumped with the others going to the same location... that or they are out to get you!

I ordered my copy on the 24th and it was showing a status of Will Deliver October 26th until when I check this morning and it said that it was still sitting in Tennessee and would not be scheduled to arrive until the October 29th. I was so pissed, I could have just gone to best buy and picked it up. I called apple's 800 number and I was able to get my academic copy knocked down to $100 so they cut of $16 but I still loose out on first day experience. The weird thing is that the keyboard I order at the same time and was originally scheduled to not ship till today shipped early and will arrive today instead of tuesday. Part of me hopes they swapped tracking numbers and I get my Leopard today.

Woohoo! It has arrived (Canada). Here are some unboxing pictures. The white piece of paper is actually the apple stickers, except I had to use flash so they didn't really come out. I know there are already unboxing pictures, but enjoy!

I ended up filling out the delivery form and telling them to leave it at the leasing office before I left for work, and when I checked my status it said "DELIVERY EXCEPTION - Customer not available or business closed".

So I called Fedex and they said that 1 minute ago they changed the status to say it had been dropped off at the rental office of my apartment building. What a relief!!

There is another thread about this issue here.

Apparently Apple put in a request to FedEx to delay the delivery of Leopard until the afternoon, most likely to be closer to the official release date. In the above thread, lots of people asked the drivers who did drop off Leopard about this issue of "future delivery requested" and that's what they said.
