I'm almost the same but opposite. Lived for years in Eindhoven, Holland. Went to the Philips Stadium, and cried when PSV went out of the UEFA cup to St. Etienne, 1976... :D

Still like to see them do well, except if they were playing Chelsea, that is.
 
Good to see others wishing PSV well. Usually Ajax (not my favorite) is the only club well-known outside of Holland.
I haven't got a real favorite here, actually.

Arsenal is the way to go ;)

Got a problem who's the best in London now.... (tha' 'urts!) :(

Actually, I'm going up to Cardiff on Saturday to watch Arsenal vs. Blackburn which should be fun. :eek:

When I got back from the US yesterday (with my new iBook ;)) I heard we had leapfrogged Man U after they drew to someone, and lost 2-0 to Norwich! w00t! :D What a home coming! :p
 
Has anyone seen that new American Express ad with Jose Mourinho? He''s getting everywhere now - even saw in one of my flatmate's girly magazines as being "sexy"! :rolleyes: :eek:

Besides this mid-table straggling team IS STILL IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

I will of course be cheering on Liverpool, and Chelsea. It pains me to admit, but Arsenal just cannot cut it in europe.

Before you start with the 'no trophies' dribble, just remember that we can still win the FA Cup. That would at least give us something to smile about, especially if we beat ManU in the final!

I'll forgive you completely if that happens obviously, but there's a way to go till it happens, plus there's the small matter of Chelski to consider. :D

You really must get your away form in Europe sorted out...
 
Woo hoo! Liverpool held Juventus to a draw (0-0) today to advance to the semifinals of the Champions League against... Chelski. (Bleah.)

Hey Chelski, you're gonna win the Premiership this year, why not let Liverpool advance to the Champions League finals? ;)

Good ol' Duncan Ferguson scored, not surprising with a header. Gary Neville AND Paul Scholes were send off...

Doesn't get much better than this... :D

It's so refreshing to see the wheels come off Man Utd. for a change -- shows Alex Ferguson's pathetic attempts at mind games for what they really are.

4 points now between us Gunners and the Red Mancunians.

Chelsea will get their ultimate season, and good for them too. But my season is still a good one if we end up ahead of Sir "unsympathetic" Ferguson.

I hang my head in shame but the joy of the Devils losing and the chance to wind up my gooner mates is irresistible :p. I'm looking forward to the fun here next Wednesday :D

Can't wait for Wednesday! Sweetest CL fixture of this season by far!!!!

And any hope for Leeds next year...? You guys really have had a tough time.
 
Just when you actually WANT ManUre to play well and beat the Toffees, they play like donkeys, half of them get sent off and ol' Dunk sinks em.... :rolleyes:

Bloody ManU, never do what they should... ;) ;) :D

Bring on Chelski, let's get this thing done.
