Must say, I never expected any sort of result from our trip to Old Trafford (and neither did XIII, eh.. right? :D ), but to actually go back home with all 3 points is fantastic! Briliant! Superb!

I heard on the news this morning that Randy Lerner is planning on flying in to watch his new acquisitions take on Sc*nthorpe in the League Cup tonight. He's going to have a hell of a shock when he turns up at Glanford Park. :D

In other news, we're safely through to the third round and are anxiously awaiting a Premiership side to deliver a mauling to... :)
 
Well, I take it all back about Sc*nthorpe. Well, not all of it, but...

We're watching the Sc*nthorpe-Aston Villa match, and they've just shown Scunny manager Brian Laws next to one of his coaching fellas, analysing his team's fortunes on a lovely, shiny PowerBook. At least they're doing something right south of the river. ;)
 
As a little aside, look what made its way up to Hull yesterday – I paid £2 to poorly kids to get my picture taken with it too! :p



The miserable buggers might at least have put some black and amber ribbons on it, for its visit to East Yorkshire... ;)

Reina (keeper) was adjudged to have handled the ball outside the box while kicking it from his hands, he was however yards inside the box when he left the ball go. The linesman who wasn't even in line with him called it.

Bolton scored from the resulting free kick on the edge of the box.
 
This lino is just making a cock of himself now. And Liverpool are paying for it.

Our keeper was sent off last season for handling the ball inside his area. I think you got off lightly there. ;)

Don't get me started on referees and linesmen. :mad:
