And a big thank you to Middlesbrough – me and my girlfriend had a very enjoyable time watching their 4-1 drubbing of Manchester United on Match of the Day last night. :D ;)

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

heh hmm.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

They're going down with the Mackems, down with the Maaaaackems!

I'll be happy to see ManUre get zero silverware again! Bet Fergie is kicking himself for not leaving when he was supposed to. Now they're having to sensor Keane for having a pop at certain players - his slot on Manc TV was cut because they were worried about its content!

Nice to see we're (The Mighty LFC) are still performing in the Champions League - Morientes scored for crying out loud - but why can't be put in the same performance in the League? Why Rafa, why?

And I'll pretend I didn't gloat too much at the Chelski result;)

All seems to be fair comment though - see the Guardian article here. Nothing offensive and probably what a lot of other people are actually thinking.

I'm afarid they're happy to see such a pain in the a** leave.

I wonder which club would have him...

Might take him down at Millwall :D

Most likely Celtic or even apply for the Ireland job.

Even as a Arsenal season ticket holder I have to say Keane has been the most influential player in the last 10 years or so. I bet Alfe Inge Haaland (sp??) won't be sad to see him go !!

Anybody see the Arsenal v Celsea game?

Saw it live on Sky Sports, but couldn't look after the second Chealski goal by Cole.

Such a shame van Persie's goal was disallowed, as it is so important to be in front against the Russian blues.
Henry hit the post, and later Robben did too.... except Robben hit it on the inside resulting in a 1-0 lead for the away side.

I knew Arsenal wouldn't get the luck to win this. Chelsea could play their favourite game: soaking up pressure, and waiting for the mistake.

I really dislike Chelsea's approach to the game. Being able to spend most of Russia's oil reserves you would think they would play like a Barcelona, and really entertain their fans.
Hmm.. that's ironic... Chelsea's fans will be entertained.... by Barcelona. :p

Hope the Portsmouth game is good. We didn't play poorly yesterday... so the game shouldn't be bad. We wos robbed. :)

Absolutely!

I really truly hated Man Utd... (wel still do, actually ;) )
But Chelsea get me right up the wall nowadays! ... ever since their first lucky victory at Wigan at the beginning of this season.

At least Arsenal have made it through to the League Cup semi-final tonight – although it took them penalties to get past plucky League One outfit Doncaster Rovers.

We watched the game on the telly – we spotted a quite a few PowerBooks being used by the assembled photographers and press... :)

Actually, I was cheering on Doncaster tonight. Us lower-leaguers have to stick together, you know! :D

The papers were bitterly disappointed to see us not lose... :p

Of course – Premiership highfliers humbled by lower league opposition makes for a great story. Most neutrals will go with the underdog in this kind of match – I know I was gutted to see Doncaster lose, even though they're rivals of ours.

Indeed.

Almunia is developing quite a talent for saving penalties. He did this in the fourth round of the FA Cup last year aswell..
