What the...?! Even with all the changes there's no excuse for Man U to lose...and a clean sheet at that!

I just hope Benitez doesn't rest Torres during league games so he can be fresh for the next Carling cup tie...I want the league, not the stupid Carling Cup....!

Too bad Grant didn't use Shevchenko, so we could all enjoy watching him fail to score...;):p

How not? It doesn't matter about the quality, if the players don't fit your not going to win.

It's happened time and time again, a mixture of youth and first time fringe players and they have never played together and don't gel.

Never mind, theres always the Champions League.

Edit: For the record, Coventry have now knocked out both Carlisle and Manchester United. Never had a reason to hate them before now.

In other news, one more reason to hate Abramovich.

That must be some entourage!

Maybe be could use one deck as a training area. The whole team could work out in there easily.

The ridiculous waste of money doesn't bother me as much as the waste of resources. Private jets are wasteful enough, but a whole airliner to yourself is pretty disgusting.

You know, after all the kerfuffle there was about him coming up to Hull during the week – increased security, the police organising special routes for him, alterations to seating arrangements, even our stewards being told he was exempt from the strict 'ties must be worn' policy in the boardroom – the miserable bugger couldn't even be arsed to turn up.

If we ever play Chelsea at the KC again during his tenure, he can queue up for his ticket like the rest of us.

Just finished watching Arsenal beat West Ham 1-0. A dour game, not much to talk about, though it should have ended 1-1 since Ljungberg was wrongly called offside and his goal disallowed.

I heard that Torres was pretty wasteful today, missing a couple clear chances...won't get the broadcast here till 9pm.

I wish they were broadcasting the Portsmouth game on Setanta...11 goals, now that's an exciting game!

And Chelsea...well, the less said the better I guess.

Ah lucky for some, not even getting the Liverpool coverage on Sky here, will get highlights in a day or two.

Watched the Chelsea replay this morning.

Another win for United as well, hardly convincing which is a worry, but its another 3 points. As C.Ronaldo said in the after match though, we're winning and there is clearly a lot more to come.

Just hope VDS isn't out too long with whatever ankle problem he has.

Edit: Make that a toe problem, going to miss at least Roma's visit on Tuesday.

Any bets on how long after the final whistle, Martin Jol lasts before he gets sacked?

As I'm typing, Spurs have gotten one back. It's now Spurs 2 - Villa 4. 20 minutes left.

The situation isn't totally bleak for Jol.

Queens Park Rangers sacked John Gregory earlier today, so there's one managerial vacancy in the capital at the moment. ;)

So if they show a picture of Daniel Levy in the stands on his phone, I can assume he's talking to John Gregory? :p

News just in on the radio, Steven Gerrard has been in a car accident which has left a 10(?) year old boy with a broken arm(?).

Gerrard was reportedly driving very slowly when the kid ran out into the side of Gerrards car.
