Blimey – it's 4-4 now! What a manager that Jol is eh? Masterminding his team's comeback and all that? :D

If only he could mastermind a defense. I sound like a broken record, but they're going nowhere if they think Robinson can stop every shot.

Robinson can't keep much out, actually.

Kudos to Spurs for fighting back, but if anything this game should show the root of the problem - they are leaking goals.

On a side note, I couldn't decide who to root for in the Roma-Man U Champions League tie, but in the end I'm glad the devils stuck it to the Italians.

Didn't see it, but heard it was *****. You know, I'm not really concerned with the Champions League this season, but if we are playing as badly as reports indicate from the Marsailles game, there's cause for concern.

The fact that Benayoun had to come off the bench to score the winner against Wigan was bad enough. To be fair, Torres is young, he's still settling in, but we need more goals from him - and Dirk Kuyt, who's awfully quiet.

The only reason Spurs didn't win today is that Paul Robinson is crap. They scored twice, which should have been good for a win against a lame Liverpool performance.

Benitez's rotation policy will be our undoing.

We looked weak at the back. Rafa should get rid of one of the strikers and pick up a fullback.

I still think Liverpool has the squad to win the title, but do we have the manager?

Paul Robinson is utter dog poo. Bring James back into the National team. While we are on the national team who here actually doesn't think John terry is a ****. He has serious anger issues which should be there in a national captain.

Liverpool's home record isn't very good at all. I know we are undefeated but still 1 win and 3 draws (although should really be 2 and 2 bloody styles). It is actually worse than our away record. We are still having trouble converting. Look at the Birmingham game if you want an example.

Totally agree we need bring in another fullback or two.

Terry is a total **********. I've heard that Graham Poll's book paints him in a very unflattering light as an abusive whiner. He hasn't been playing all that well either. I'd give the captaincy to Lamps or Gerrard before Terry.

I'm not angry about the Rob Styles penalty any more - if we need calls to win games we aren't playing good enough anyway. If Liverpool keep playing like this it will be a Man U - Arsenal race for the title. Heck, if Liverpool keep playing like this they'll finish 5th behind Man City.

OK, I'm a Chelsea fan and even I don't like him... but please don't try and bypass the profanity filter otherwise there will be some yellow cards handed out. Thanks. ;)

I had the chance to watch John Terry first hand when Chelsea played Hull recently, and to say I was annoyed with him is an understatement – whenever there was a decision to be made by the referee he would be there, berating the official and waving imaginary cards in the air. We have enough troubles with referees as it is without the England captain trying to sway them, thank you very much. ;)

He's an excellent player certainly, but I don't think he has the attitude to match his abilities.

Brian Barwick (spelling?) wants to introduce a system, similar to rugby, where only the captain can speak to the ref. Great idea. But now he says that it should be introduced at grass-routs level first! No you idiot. Bring it in at Premiership level so it becomes second nature to the kids watching on TV.

There was a letter in FourFourTwo this month that raised an interesting suggestion – that as well as the notion that only the captain is allowed to approach the referee, if players continue to remonstrate after they've been warned not to then the referee is within his rights to book the team captain – potentially resulting in a sending off or suspension.

Apparently it's a system that's used in hockey, and the letter writer argues that captains and managers alike would ensure that players toed the line and didn't go confronting the referee.

Mea Culpa.... At least I don't argue with the refs here...:p;)

It sounds like a good idea to me - no more crowds of players surrounding the ref disputing a call.

Sorry ref, but had to get my point about terry across, noted.

I really like the new idea of only talking to the captains. Should help to restore some of the lost respect for the refs (sorry to keep bringing him up) *cough*John Terry*cough*

There are also racist allegations against John Terry. He's a ****. So is Keane, by the way, but that's unrelated.

How good was that van Persie freekick? The sound of it smashing the crossbar is the best bit. :D 77mph.. haha. Also loved his second goal, so so quick with his feet. And Walcott - brilliant turn and pass for van Persie's second goal, and an amazing little run and finish onto the post at the death - but what the **** was that fluff from 6 yards out about? Infuriating! But the special mention of the game has to go to Kolo Toure, who has been trying 40 yard screamers from free kicks and in open play since he arrived at Arsenal, always narrowly missing. I felt so sorry for him, hitting the post with an absolute belter today! Still, he can save up the 45 yards top left hand corner strike for the Champions League Final, I suppose..

WE ARE TOPPA THE LEAGUE, SAY WE ARE TOPPA THE LEAGUE!

Van Persie was absolute class today not doubt about it, also screamer for his first and the second pure genius.

Chalk another Terry hater up here as well. The mans a prick.

Also, I think that was a little of this Arsenal inexperience creeping in yesterday at 2 up. A decent side would have scored more.

2 more games to shine up our shooting boots, then bring em on.

Pretty sure bring 'em on was what United said last season.. twice.. :p

van Persie was very good yesterday. I know plenty of people who have money on him for golden boot in the Prem, he was 20-1 at the start of the season. This could be a milestone season for him.

Shouldn't have let Sunderland get back into the game, no. In fairness we did score a third, but it was "offside"..

Gotta be positive. Bring all of the games on. :)

RVP was good. What a venom of a shot he has. Been tryin to work out if the goal that wasnt was better than his free kick that was.

FWIW I didnt think your 3rd was offside. You'ze won tho, which is the main thing. (Had plently of pratice saying that so far this season).

(Wow, hard to type long posts on the touch)

Ok, cool. Agree with all of that.

You don't like the typing on the touch? :( I was hoping it would be good, planning on getting an iPhone.
