Does anyone know if Switcheasy is going to provide the same colors for the Canvas for the new iPad as they had for the iPad2? My wife wants a pink one but they're not showing that color for the new iPad.

i returned my switcheasy canvas and went with a light gray smart cover + frosted belkin snap shield. canvas looked really nice, but i don't need that much protection on my couch. i like being able to pull the smart cover off whenever and keeping the weight down.

I was close to ordering the rock case too but decided against it due to lack of feedback on those stores. Resellerratings has one review and it's bad :(

it looks amazing but yea I'd like to see some more reviews, what it'd say about it? i

Me too! Mine is arriving tomorrow as well! I'll make sure to post photos and a full review here once she arrives. I'm pairing her up with an aluminum icarbon backing too.

I received my Maki Incase today. Not sure I'm liking it so far. The portrait view is too up-right and nothing like it looks like in the pictures. I probably would never use it in portrait mode so I'm better off with a smart cover. Feels a little cheap too for $50! Snug fit as well. I don't believe it would be able to hold both the smart cover and the New iPad together (maybe the iPad 2?).

Anyway, I'm thinking about returning it and going back to the Belkin Snap Sheild Frost color and a Blk Leather smart cover?

Let me know how it goes for you?

I'll let you know soon. My university's mailroom opens at 5pm and i'll be picking it up then. Since I received the iPad it hasn't left my dorm building unless its in my iPad STM bag and have been holding her naked when I walk into my floor's lounges to study.

The iCarbon aluminum backing arrives today too so I need to see if I like the combo. I can speculate all I want now but by 6pm I'll know exactly where I stand in all this.

I have to be come honest when I say I've had this Maki Sleeve with me for a bit over an hour and I absolutely hate it. It's is not worth the $30 I paid for on the InCase site; the material feels somewhat cheap in my opinion. The sleeve itself it super snug and doesn't seem to offer any true protection if I was to drop it on the floor. I may as well carry it nakedly.

The typing angle absolutely sucks and cannot be trusted. I'm using it at the time of this typing and it keeps falling. This isn't a surprise considering this sleeve isn't really meant for the angles, it's simply advertised as such. I only wish there was an InCase location I could return this case at rather than having to mail it back to them for an exchange or refund. it's a shame, I do love InCase a great deal, but with this case they really messed up.

The portrait angle is only slightly better, but has made the iPad fall a few times.

I hate this case. I'm going to return it.

My aluminum iCarbon arrived today and am going to install it. I may go the smart cover route or not at all and just keep it naked. I don't want a case and so far this past week having the iPad without any protection has been heavenly. Of course I don't know what I'd do if she was to take a tumble.

I've ordered Incase Maki Sleeve, Best Skins ever full protection until the Spigen SGP or Power support comes to and also got the Apple Smart cover.

I've left the Apple plastic on there until everything arrives.... LOL what a loser, i've barely used it because of the wait

I currently have a Targus Slim but the upright stand position is not sturdy enough for screen taps. Is this a flaw of this particular case or will all cases of this style have this drawback? Which style case is best for using the iPad in this position? I have never tried the folio style with the slots or the style that the Apple Smart cover uses.

Can you post a shot of the sleeve with the iPad in it?

I hope it doesn't suck as much as you say it does, I already ordered one.

I almost ordered the incase maki... Glad I waited to see your reviews before doing so....

I've got a full body bestskins as well, any cases you discovered that actually fit with it? That's always the challenge. :(

Ahh ok thought it was about the case having issues so they havent even received it.

I'm definitely returning it. May get a smart cover, may not. I've done well so far this week.

i ordered a griffin intellicase.

havent heard of many others picking one up, but it seems like a case with all the features i want, and its not badly priced at $45 after coupon.

would have wanted a pixelskin hd with auto wake, but speck still hasnt announced anything. the magfolio is nice as well.
also had a slight interest in the casemate ultra slim tuxedo as well, but ultimately decided it doesnt offer enough protection,
and lastly, the switcheasy canvas. not in stock and has questionable positioning options.

if i dont like the griffin, i may return it for the Canvas case or one of Speck's offerings.

This is the sleeve I got off Etsy. Really, really happy with it!

I received my new otter box defender case for my new iPad.

No complaints, but I wonder if the Casey's screen protector compromises my iPad's beautiful clarity!

I will say that I have no worries about my iPad now.

Anyone else have this case?
