other than that, I like mine naked. if for I ever got a case it would be something strong like an otter box but I hate those plastic screen covers they use on all of those cases.

i pad 2 folio on ipad 3?

has anyone tried any of the ipad 2 folios on an ipad 3. how well do they work. i am particularly interested in the rocketfish icapsule II. being that the ipad 3 is lightly thicker, i don't think it will work. but if some one tried it and it did...

I had the PS anti glare on my ipad 2 because the reflection used to drive me nuts. How do you find it on the new iPad? Does it reduce the "gorgeousness" of the screen?

It does but the screen still looks AWESOME!!!

Wife actually wants the iballz with the hard case. I about fell out of my chair. I did find a 15% off coupon code (A4CWSN) that is good for a few days from a posting on their facebook page. >>sigh<<

The sleep/wake does not work on this case. I will be returning it.

I just purchased the aforementioned Poetic StrapBack using the code dropping it to $14.95 then Amazon points it was FREE! I will post how it is when I receive it.

pretty sure it's already been reviewed, but I picked up the Targus case at BB since I have a flight tomorrow and needed SOMETHING for protection. Fits great and the sleep magnet works fine.....

Enough structural support without hiding the iPad completely and I prefer the method of operation for standing the screen up to watch or play. more stable than the quad fold smartcover at the more vertical position.
 
I have a case that was advertised to have the sleep/wake feature, but it doesn't look like there is a place in my settings to turn it on? Any ideas?

This looks great, thanks. I just wonder how the cover holds to the back of the ipad when its open. It seems like when using the strap it might be hard to keep the ipad from falling forward.

Yes. I had it for the iPad 2. It's a tight fit on the 3, but I love it and I hate it. I love it because it looks awesome and has a nice feel. I hate it because it is a pain in the ass to close and the groove slots aren't deep enough, causing the viewing angles to slip. It would be the best case on the market if they got rid of those 2 latches and fixed the angle depth.
 
I ordered the STM Skinny and will report back once I get it. I had a Yoobao slim case with a similar strap and tab closure and I absolutely loved it. I know a lot on this thread didn't really like the whole tab idea but for me it just gives super stability in the typing mode. I'm hoping the STM Skinny does the same.

I had the original iPad and went through crazy searching to find a case that I liked. But after sporting the Yoobao and a Power Support screen protector I got the full price when I traded in at Best Buy. Interesting that Best Buy offered $270 for the good condition original iPad and the most Apple would offer was $170.

Right now I have the Apple Smart cover in the cream leather and I don't like it at all. It was getting icky with fingerprints and smudges from regular handling before I even got it home. And that was with clean and dry hands. Definitely a waste of money.

I do love these threads though - a lot of great ideas.
