I have the ipad mini, and do not haul it around with me when I am out. Seems, like I am using the iphone more than I thought. So being able to get the best of both in a smaller/larger (depending on what you use) package, seems to be best for me. I probably will be selling the mini.

IF I order, I'd get the 6 and see how the reviews, tests come back for the 6+ - then size up if I want. I'd rather size up than down.

For me.... Deep breath, I'm waiting. I've been at the 2007 launch lines and except for the 5 - every launch in person or online. I don't need to do that anymore and can wait a couple days for the 'real' info to come in on that darned OIS. Maybe hit the store bypassing the lines to look.

I'm going with patience here to make the right decision. However... it does suck LOL

Still undecided.

This is what I'm doing.

Yes, the 6 Plus may be a little too big, but I'm preordering anyways. I'll use it for a week to see if this is something I can "deal with" size wise.

If I can't I'll exchange it for a 6 at my local Apple store. I'm assuming they'll have more 6's available than 6 Plus.

I also think the 6 Plus will have 2 GB of RAM, and 6 users will be upset knowing their phone isn't as "future proof" as the Plus.

Now I could be completely wrong, but seeing how Apple has added a few better features to the Plus, I wouldn't be surprised.

I'd be willing to bet money there's going to be a lot of returned 6+'s when people fully realize how big they really are.

Plus you!

Keep ordering those huge Pluses, for now at least - until I've ordered my compact 6 ;)

Friggin' Verizon! Down down down.

Just like the 6. No way they stuck to 1GB for 3 generations.
They were still way better than Apple. Just a wee bit after 12, Verizon website was good. I noticed the 6+ 16GB was the first to slip on delivery to October while the 64GB and 128GB models were still showing deliver on 9/19.

I still can't order! Site is giving me a ECPD profile error and after waiting on hold for 40 minutes I was told they couldn't take my order because my account has a discount and nobody with discounts could order. She took my number and said she'd call me back then the call 'disconnected'. Oh hold again.

Future proof? Sorry, most keep a phone for two years. Phones give way to newer models faster than almost any device.

There will be a thread devoted to folks complaining after they've had to carry that thing around for a few weeks. Most carry/transport the thing more time out of the day then they are on it.

After struggling for more than an hr, my order went through on Verizon's site. I ended up settling with the 6 not the plus. Went with the 128gb option, since i figure less ppl were going to order that one. And it would prob be shipped to me quicker. Still no confirmation email though. But when i check online, it says they received my order and it is processing.

Yes, well, Apple Store website still isn't available and the phones are showing as Currently Unavailable on Apple Store app. You'd think they'd have it down to an art by now. I remember the 4S, 5 and 5s (pre-)orders going more smoothly. In fairness to Verizon, at least their site was working properly around 12:05 (that's when I checked). Apple has just been glitchy although. i can imagine the load on Apple's servers being much higher than Verizon's. :p

Done. iP6 128GB Space Grey. 9/19. Now, to find a cheap tablet to get my monthly cost of the new line I just added to only $10.

Anyone have suggestions on screen protectors? First order is to get something FAST. Second will be to find something that clings to the edge curve. This was a major problem with the Droid DNA (had curved glass at the edge too), the protector was lifting at the edge. :(

I was going to get a 6 until today (err the 11th).

Then my wife said she wanted the 6+.
We talked about it, went to the AT&T store, I used phones of comparable sizes.

And decided I did like the larger phone better.

Honestly I rarely "talk" on my phone much anymore.
And when I do talk I'm usually in the car using hands free anyway.

I am texting and typing on it far more, and the keyboard on the larger phone is just so much easier to not mistype with for me. And the pocket feel wasn't nearly as bad as I thought.

For me that outweighs the awkwardness of holding the large phone to my head.

Ok. We'll see who's right when it gets here.

I have two weeks to exchange lol.

I was undecided as I was ordering, or trying to order at 3am. Had a 6 in my cart ready to go, chickened out. Decided screw it ill get the 6plus and try it out. That became a nightmare trying to order (site issues). Swayed again and decided I really don't want to carry that thing in my pocket. The 6 is still bigger than the 5s, but that allure of having "the best and biggest" was hard to resist.

Around 4:15am EST I finally got two 6's, but got the message that a phone was reserved for me but apple couldn't contact my carrier (att). They would email me when I could order. Well after going through this stuff for 5 years now I knew that could turn into a nightmare as well, but went to bed because I needed some sleep and had to get up in a few hours.

Fast forward to 6:45am and I placed two orders for the 6 and everything went through just fine. My card was charged two hours later and got a call from visa fraud protection (good thing I answered the call). I should know by now that its never as simple as getting up at 3am and spending five minutes ordering a phone lol!

i'm having the same problem... i kinda want the plus but i printed out the phones shapes and the plus is just freakin huge! i don`t think i could fit that in most of my pockets and i don't feel like i wouldn`t be able to text one-handed... so i guess i'm just gonna go with the 6

Dont forget third party keyboards are going to be supported with iOS 8 swyping with one hand will be a breeze. (you can't swype two handed)

I couldn't reliably type/swipe or otherwise use the Note2 one-handed. Always juggling and balancing it on my fingertips, because my hand isn't big enough. So I ordered the 6. I'd love the 6+, but I just can't use it one-handed.
