Waiting on reviews, but I plan to buy it.
Probably going to sit out Mirage. I'm kinda burned out on AC at the moment. It looks good tho, I hope everyone enjoys it.
Probably out on Mirage for now. Haven't had the time for an AC in quite awhile...the last one I put significant time into was Black Flag (which I quite enjoyed, though I didn't finish it).
Is cod mw11 purchased Bundles per Season.
Ive had very limited enjoyment from Blackcell pack, find it's missing today.
More packs required I guess, I'm not really into Zombies, avoiding MW 111.

We just picked up a 2nd PS5 for our other boy. He is mainly a PC Gamer... so he doesn't have a TV in his room like his brother. I bought him an Elgato 4k60 Pro internal capture card so he can play/record/stream through his Gaming PC.
I'm amazed how well his setup works. No latency, framerates, and audio are fantastic... like plugging HDMI straight into a TV. We may have a 3rd PS5 coming soon with the same capture card for my rig....🤔

So did anyone play the Foamstars Open Beta Party over the weekend? I did not think I would enjoy the game as much as I did. I went into it thinking it was just a sloppy shameless Splatoon clone. What I got though was a really enjoyable party game that left me heartbroken once the beta ended.
WAIT I FORGOT SOMETHING. The moment Foamstars won my heart though, was the music. The music is extremely funky, like Persona 5 level funky. But one song in particular stood out
This track is already chill and funky on it's own, but that's not the track in particular that won me over with Foamstars. However, it was used to sample this battle song, the song that really won my heart:
Foamstars has Future Funk music. Oh my god. You have no idea how happy I am that my favorite music subgenre is being used in a AAA multiplayer game.
And the rest of the soundtrack slaps so much already. This is used as the Tutorial theme:
And this is the hub theme:
It was at that moment I realized the "Splatoon ripoff" was tailor made for me. Where Splatoon uses primarily rock and pop music, Foamstars uses disco, funk, Electro Swing, Acid Jazz, FUTURE FUNK, and all sorts of other funky chill music subgenres, giving a musical score fit for a bubbly party.

Each trailer that comes out it gets more intriguing. I never played the original but have the remastered version because of PS+. I'll need to get on it.
Its a brilliant game. You can feel that its a bit old sometimes but the feeling is there and the music is phenomenal.
I'd say its build up to the sequel to get a feel for the somewhat twisted story from the first one,

I got rid of my TV recently and was thinking about selling my PS5, but maybe it isn't so bad using it with a decent monitor. Do you feel 1440p works alright with your PS5?
Oh yes. I still have my collector's edition of the first game for the 360. I absolutely adored Control and lost my crap with the AWE expansion. My wife and I are doing a play through of the Remaster for Halloween and in prep for AW2.
I saw your quote earlier... but I had to ask my son to be sure I answered correctly. He has 2x 1080p 240 Hz monitors. Before he got his capture card, he connected his PS5 directly in one of the monitors hdmi ports. He said he played at 1080p... which still looked good on his gaming monitor. The main reason why we got the Elgato 4k60 capture card, is because he didn't have audio unless disconnected his headsets from the computer, and plug into the controller. It was also annoying to change display settings on the monitor. With the capture card, he now has his PS5 audio through his computer. Now he can multitask his PS5 games on one screen, and play YT vids or talk on discord on the other screen... and hear everything in his headset. But the best part... is he can play his games at 1440p through settings in OBS. It looks really good... compared to when he played at 1080p connected direct. Makes me want to do the same setup... but probably won't happen.

Here's the differences:
The original PS5 was 390 mm x 260 mm x 104 mm (15.4 in x 10.2 in x 4.1 in), and the new model will be approximately 358 mm x 96 mm x 216 mm (14.0 in x 3.7 in x 8.5 in).
While I've struggled to find a place for my PS5 to fit in, I agree with Ifti, in that there is no point for me
It looks like this leak was actually legit.
From what I’ve read, the new digital ed. PS5 is just 2.6Kg
If it wasn’t because I’m waiting to see the PS5 Pro, I would actually buy this new slim digital edition.
Yeah, I switched to digital only during the PS4 Gen., and whenever I buy the PS5, it’s going to be digital. Most of my games were from the PSN store anyway (purchased only when their price was very reduced). I didn’t have more space for my CDs/DVDs/BDs, and having them digital I was able to carry them within the console itself, whenever I moved.
Also, in case I regret it, now that decision can be reverted purchasing the 120€ blu Ray drive… a bit expensive in Europe, tbh, compared to the $80 on the US.
This is also a good decision for SONY, because AFAIK, they will only be manufacturing one single model, and then at the end of the chain they will attach the drive or not according to the model. I guess this should help in the supply chain.
If I bought the slim, it would be mainly for the weight. I usually move my main console between two places, and carrying a heavy and big console with me was a nope. So now, with this model, that would be easier… however, I still want to wait and see the dimensions and weight of the Pro model.
I didn’t play the first either, and I’d like to play it before I play the second game. I have to admit that I never felt attracted towards the first game, but given how much I enjoyed Control (for me it’s an excellent game), now I want to dive into this other games from Remedy.
Can’t remember if I said the bargain price I got a PS5 for? I sold my Series X and used £300 of that sale to put towards it, I saved many Christmas and Birthday money gifts for it lol, but they killed it for me with the ads.
Anyway here in the UK John Lewis were running a promotion on the PS5 disk model with EA FC 24 making it £429, I don’t really care about the game but that price was great.
My sisters family work for Waitrose supermarket which is part of John Lewis and they get 12% off electronics, sadly no discount on Apple lol, but it made the console just under £380, so I asked my mum for the remaining £80 for Christmas.
So yeah a PS5 new with 2 year warranty for £380. It has been delivered and I did take it out and test it works, already thought that the UI was amazing and better than Xbox, then I reset it and boxed it back up for Christmas Day. Excited to get into it. And the console on John Lewis is now back up to £539 with the game so glad I didn’t hang around waiting on it.
I‘m not bothered by the new models, be nice to have the smaller one but I think that disk drive model looks much uglier, I have PS4 games on disk I’d like to play still. But I’ll get a 2 terabyte SSD for it too.

Congratulations! Here in Spain happened the same, during September the physical drive PS5 was discounted from its retail price of 550€ down to 450€, the digital PS5 price. Sadly the Digital PS5 wasn’t discounted. Then, at the end of September, the PS5 went back to its usual 550€. It was evident, at least for me, that it was a way to clear up PS5 stock as the slim model approached, but anyway, many people benefitted from it.
Now, if you want to buy an SSD, I would do it as soon as you find a good deal, because Samsung already said they are rising SSD prices because their benefits are lower than usual. And maybe other manufacturers will follow Samsung.
