I don't think too many people would want to go for that. It's hassle to switch accounts and I'm betting that breaks ToS.
I agree. Do it and you'll ask for trouble that could result in your accounts getting banned with all your digital purchases lost in the process.

If you want the flexibility of selling games I recommend buying a console with a digital drive. I do half and half. Some "forever" games like Minecraft are purchased digitally whilst others that I will likely only play through once are purchased on disc.

I was actually going to create a new Xbox account and buy only COD MW2 digital and play it on my other account and when I got bored of it I would just sell the new account with the COD MW2.

I learned my lesson the hard way about selling stuff. A few years ago I had to pay a premium for a GameCube and a dozen of my favorite games again. I should have just kept it back in the day. One game alone was $150.

Has anyone had any issues with standing their PS5 upright? With all the talk of the Liquid Metal moving down when it’s like that I was curious.

rip, i always renew mine on black friday sales, really hope we get a good one this year because im on premium, in the past i could justify it with the games you get with it, but now its going to be hard
The extra kick in the pants will be all the "free" PS+ games you have won't work without the subscription.

I have the mid tier one, and as I mentioned I'm leaning heavily to letting it expire. I'll see about the black friday deals - that's good to know.

It is runny when hot I think, some have advised it can be an issue? That it can collect at the bottom of the foam surround and leave spots of the processor naked?
Eh, at least from the PC side CPUs are vertical 99% of the time and I've not heard of that being an issue when it is applied correctly. Of course this is the first mass market use of the thermal interface, so it is still to be seen how later years will go as most PC users tend to upgrade sooner than a consoles lifecycle.

I guess all I can say is, so far there have been no reports of it being an issue and the consoles have been out for almost three years. That being said, I run my horizontal because it fits in my entertainment center that way (I'd run the Series X in the same orientation).

We have a Sony State of Play today. Don't expect anything major as just like most State of Plays they're focused on third party offerings.

To be fair, all you own with physical media is the physical disk. Physical media can be made unplayable via a quiet update.

And modern physical games (post PS3/360) are nothing more than a physical key for a digital game.

Yes this is correct - but I can still sell that physical key for the game via the disc at the moment, so I'll carry on doing that! lol

No queston but I think this is more of a rarity. What happens more often is companies like sony saying they're shutting down a store, say the PSP and your games are no longer available.

I say this, even though I tend to buy digitally and not physical

And most of the time these days you need a day 1 patch that fixes major performance problems.

Yeah I'm definitely not griefing people who are mostly/exclusively physical media. I'm just to the point that I get physical media for older consoles (obviously), or something that I know I'll replay a lot.

That and I have a steel book addiction.

There were lots of reports from people repairing the console. Also saying it leaks out but that seems to be if the console is dropped. But as millions have been sold now, just wanted to check.
Think I’m selling my Series X, I hate with a passion the new dashboard full of ads, and Starfield I found to be boring and confusing, not for me. To be honest most of the Game Pass exclusives haven‘t interested me and any that do are on PS5 also as they were timed exclusives like The Ascent.

I was hoping Sony may launch its rumoured updated model with the removable disk drive but that seems to have gone quiet now. Still also excited to see the new Nintendo system. I may have both though.
