What color did you order? Stone or brown? Just curious since stone shows 2-4 weeks and brown shows May (band only)

Yeah that's the first I've seen with that window. I saw it at 12:01am when the site went live and it was 5/13-5/27. That's what it continued to be at 12:03am when I checked out.
Makes sense, band only. Didn't think any watches with leather loop had that range.

Sorry you don't believe me, but it is true. I received it this morning. I talked to a supervisor yesterday morning. Yes, I do have a 38mm, but people here told me it looks bad on me after I posted pictures. So yes, I do want to get my second order to see if the 42mm looks better. I don't live conviently near a store, so I can't go look and try on.
Yeah i thought I was being slick since I really wanted the leather loop and saw from the second the store opened the delivery dates were in May for that model. So I thought, well I do need a band for working out in and playing tennis so then I saw the classic buckle had launch day delivery dates. I thought best case I might get the apple watch with leather loop by 4/29 earliest this way! Jokes on me! Both still processing as you see above.
I was kind of doing the reverse. Main order SS with leather loop, adding on a sport band. If I did it the other way around, I would most likely have my watch on my wrist

Yes, but then you wouldn't be entertaining us with all these messages of hope for our apple watches to arrive promptly. I know I am not the only one checking this forum for news and hope when my order still says "processing".

Yeah I'm glad I did the sport band route and apparently the model I got was one of the most available (SSS w/ WSB) and I got it at 8:45AM launch day.
Same thought here, need to work out and play tennis, but I chose the leather band version and added a sport band.. Should have go the opposite way...
Had a chat with a rep: can't change the band size I've ordered without going to the back of the queue, so will just try the large when it arrives. Encouraged me to do a try on - but you can't arrange the band swap until you have the watch in hand anyway so doesn't seem a lot of point. It does involve a separate order for the new band then a return and refund of the unwanted one, but that order needs to be created by Apple so you can't get a headstart by ordering it now (maybe it jumps the queue a bit, but I doubt it).
Didn't bother to ask about delivery dates though - it's pretty clear the chat reps don't have anything but the party line to offer.

I have a feeling that leather loop bands are going to be very delayed. In the UK here waiting for updates on my brown leather loop!
Well we are already "very delayed" compared to some of the other orders which shipped early. But our delivery window is still over two weeks away...
Anyone with 4/29 to 5/12 Window with Only Bands Have Any Movement Yet?
Ordered a blue leather loop band separate but it was the watch I wanted from the start. Ordered the 42mm SS with BSB as the back up. My band window is 4/29 to 5/12. Know today is out since processing and not expecting towards the end of the window.
What ticks me off is seeing Matt Lauer from the Today Show wearing one Friday (4/24) and making a comment that he bought his as to make a point he didn't receive any special treatment... Yeah right. I normally don't watch Today and wife had it on and she said that's going to tick a lot of people off. I think that's an understatement and just reaffirmed why I don't watch.

Since apparently all of the leather bands are being delayed and there might be some major issues with quality control or whatever I just caved in and pre-ordered a 42mm SS WSB scheduled for june to see which one ships first. Did anyone else order an alternative?

I read your thread where you asked for advice. I did have to stop reading after a few pages because people were giving you advice that you asked for, and all you did was say how people were harassing you and saying bad things about you. That in no way happened! People, very politely said they recommend you go with a larger band and most likely the larger watch. I am a big person myself and in no way did I see anyone say anything negative, other than you.
You wanted advice, you got kind advice. I do admit, I stopped reading after a few pages because people gave kind advice and all you did was accuse people of saying you are fat.... did not happen.
Others can read for themselves. It is very clear you are not going to be happy with anything, said by anyone here. So I give up, and hope others do too. I think this lady is just looking for attention, and/or a means to vent.

I don't know what's going on here but I saw the original thread: there were a **** ton of really mean posts - i think a mod deleted them eventually though.
Yeah - I ordered a BSB also quoted June. I don't really expect to see it ship first unless it gets jumped right up the queue, but figured it was worth a try!
