I'm so pissed. I have no pending charges, no update or even a notification that it's not happening. I will call Monday and cancel.
... I buy the next iPhone instead. It's more fun anyways.
Getting extremely annoyed and rather impatient because most people without leather loops and modern buckes have their watches already while here we are still waiting ughhhhhhh

Well people in the 24-8th thread are seeing movement in the classic buckle.....so that just leaves us. I'm curious, we were 4-6 from the get go.....anybody think we see a huge shipment that they were finally able to put together before the 13th? Like one of those "oh thank god we got them made finally" shipments?
My order, if I would have known I would've switched the bands prior....sucks! Ordered at 12:03am....still in processing hell....my band in my deliveries app shows to be delivered in 2 days, however i haven't been charged for either. I live in So-Cal

Same here.. I should have placed an order for both and cancel when one is charged..
I have just placed one more order with sport band and see which one will be charged first..
I have lost faith on the leather loop version..
I wonder what is going on and feel bad for the ones here that ordered on the 10. I got a 38mm but also ordered a 42mm with leather loop. It would be nice if Apple would say what the problem is in filling the orders. All the reps say is Supply and Demand and they are filling orders in the order they were placed and received. Hope there is movement for those at the front of the Leather Loop line.
This is exactly what I did. I was going to order a sport band anyway for running, but didn't really like the idea of wearing it around town/work etc. every since my try on appointments at the Apple Store Iv fallen in love more and more with the bone leather loop. My original order had a estimated shipping time of 13th May - 28th May. My Watch with the sport band arrived after a day! Really looking forward to loop orders shipping! Hope everyone has some luck soon

Wait are the bands still made all the way in Italy? Thought the bands were also made in China.
Apple says: the band is handcrafted in Italy....blah, blah, blah..... Seems most think the bands are made there and then shipped to China to be married to the watch case.....either way I think there have been a few to many siestas and glasses of wine had on that production line...but who knows, I'm sure dying leather and inserting and stitching magnets isn't something the tannery has done on this scale before

And besides....have you ever seen a high quality leather item that was made in China? It's not really their thing.....now making EVERY other thing? They seem to have that down
I caved and ordered a 42mm SS black sport band, it says June....but from everything I read it doesn't matter what it said unless you ordered a loop....we will see, I'll order the blue loop later if i get the sport first
I did the same thing a couple of days ago. Mine is at June. One leather loop has no movement at all. The fiancee's modern buckle is the same.
Figure I'd see if the BSB all of a sudden ships and then I'll just order a separate leather loop.
Sent an email to Tim Cook too. No, I don't think I'll get a response. No, I wasn't mean. Just said I was disappointed that other orders seem to be shipping quicker and there's a bunch of us that ordered right at 12:00PST. Also acknowledged that Apple is not wrong..yet...in their shipping.
It made me feel better and that's all that matters

Maybe all the leather loop models were supplied with the defective taptic engine, and that's why no one has had anything happen with their orders...

After reading about the tactic engine problem, maybe it's good our watches are taking forever....but you still can't blame that on why we don't have loops. Unless Apple new about the problem before launch day and that's why ours were immediately 4-6....but if that's the case it means loops were made first! Either way we loose still....

This strap option, also supplied by Apple for the purposes of this review, closes thanks to magnetic segments that attach to one another, surrounded by a sealed external skin of leather. The leather extends all the way to the connector component at the end of the strap, making this a versatile option for those looking for something that matches both aluminum and stainless steel case options, so in that regard its a good general choice.
Overall, Im satisfied with the band and will definitely continue to use it, but it does have a tendency to slip somewhat looser when you bend your wrist, as the magnets slide against each other and drop down a couple of links, meaning youll find yourself readjusting throughout the day. It doesnt happen that often (only when my wrist bends at a fairly dramatic angle from my forearm) but its just enough to ensure the leather loop strap isnt strictly a set-it-and-forget it option once its on your arm.

Regarding magnets. You can buy all kinds of neodyn magnets on amazon.
They come in all forms and sizes.
I'm pretty sure the magnets are not the issue.
Maybe the thin leather makes it impossible to assemble them ay high speeds.
I bet you could make one yourself.

Long time lurker - I usually just visit on product launches to get a feel for things (crowds and such), get mine and then disappear. Well... now I'm on this site way too much not to register.
I ordered a 42mm SS w/ blue leather loop. When the Apple Store went live... I admit, I was tired and did not notice the shipping dates and assumed that if I just acted as quickly as possible - I should get mine on launch day. My email came in at 12:03am indicating the mid-may window. I looked at the email more closely in the morning and then continued to look at this thread and the apple watch subreddit to see if these were shipping... They definitely are not!
Anyway, I figured I would throw that in. I know I should have looked at the shipping more closely but Apple has never really given me reason to worry about such a thing (until now). Funny part is, and I've seen this mirrored here, is that I ordered the sport band strap separately for working out. Had I just swapped the order... I may have had my watch by now.

Exact same scenario as me. But for me I ordered it immediately cuz I've been saving up for it for months now so when preorders went live i just immediately checked out.
I also ordered the black sports band separately, sadly both haven't shipped yet.
