This is good, we know Apple can actually make these things, now all they need to do is attach them to watches and send them out!!

My hope will be restored, when someone here posts that their watch configuration is shipping.

This stands to reason, IF they have ample bands to fill both standalone and watch orders. If this is the case, watch orders should start shipping very soon. If they only have a limited supply of bands, and are using all of these to fulfill standalone orders it would be very disappointing and 'backwards'.

I agree, that would be backward.

I would be surprised if Apple doesn't start updating the LL + Watch orders quite soon.

i'm just annoyed by this.
i ordered 42mm black LL about 2 mins after store opened. Still "processing"

I ordered a 38mm milanese for my wife 2 weeks after (4/24) and it just moved to shipped today. So annoying!

Someone says that every day, the law of averages dictates it will eventually be correct. :p

After realizing that the one guy off Twitter who got his SS Brown LL watch ordered his at xx:04, and I ordered mine at xx:01, why the puck did Apple send his first?? Did they not produce any Blue LLs at all?!?!

Well my extra black sports band that said "may" for 3 weeks now changed to May 27-June 1....guess they aren't ahead on those. And idk what the other poster was talking about, the lead times on larger leather loop bands are exactly the same

Oh. Just noticed mine changed to May 26-June 2 too. Thanks for the info!

I think Apple served up whammies. At least unless you are a celebrity and you were gifted one.

Thanks for the heads up. My extra band now has the same date range of May 27 - June 1, previously it just said May and I was figuring I would get it before the watch... Still nothing new on the watch + blue leather band though.

It's like they had ONE Brown LL in stock, and sent it to the first person to order it... I don't get it, did they give the rest away to celebs and were like, "Hey, we have this one extra. Just send it to someone?"

Does anyone for sure know that the guy received the configuration and not just a band? Seems odd that no one else has received theirs. Especially those of you who ordered on the 10th.

I asked that very question back on the 30th when I saw his tweet. He confirmed and we've been jokingly tweeting back and forth since. He's not a reviewer or celeb or anything. Also, the LL bands weren't shipping then either, so regardless it's still a massive anomaly.

Here's the tweet where he shows it in the box and everything: https://twitter.com/agorzny/status/595681615285727232

If it's genuine, the box would say Stainless Steel Leather Loop.

I notice he hasn't shown a picture of that. So I'm a bit skeptical.

Edit: looking at his previous posts, this is genuine!

Plus One

I don't understand it either. There are countless folk who ordered blue and black LL and not a single one has a real photo on Twitter.

What makes me wonder is this: How does the packaging work?

The Sport packaging is different from the Steel and the description is printed on the box, including band details. It seems strange that the production facility has to wait for the bands to do the final packaging.

I assume the sport bands are mass produced alongside the watch bodies, but I am pretty sure that the leather bands are produced by different suppliers.

Maybe they really wait for bands, package the watches and than wait until there's a whole palette of them to distribute to the destination countries.

It seems unfair that they ship one palette to the US and other countries aren't getting any.

Is there a warehouse somewhere in China where palettes of leather loop watches are waiting to be dispatched because their maximum number to ship them out has not been reached.

I'm typing all this because I'm puzzled that we have not seen any. I would understand if they are indeed rare, but there are none.

They probably made a small batch for stores and review units and someone got lucky and they shipped one out.

This seems strange.
