The Talk Show Live From WWDC 2024 is now available to watch on YouTube. Daring Fireball's John Gruber discussed Apple Intelligence and other WWDC announcements with Apple's software engineering chief Craig Federighi, marketing chief Greg Joswiak, and AI/machine learning head John Giannandrea in front of a live audience.

The on-stage interview took place on Tuesday evening at the California Theatre in San Jose, California, and it ran for nearly two hours.

Also check out our special WWDC episode of The MacRumors Show filmed at Apple Park.

Editor's Note: The video was set to private very shortly after we shared it on MacRumors. I believe a tiny issue was discovered that needed fixing. John Gruber says the video will likely return in a matter of hours, so check back later. Worth the wait! Sorry for any inconvenience.

Gruber will always side with people in positions of power over everyone else. He’ll complain about a design choice Apple makes now and then knowing there won’t be any repercussions but would never in a million years question some of their business practices. To this day he maintains that “antennagate” was a hoax even after Apple changed the design of the phone to address the problem. And he’s a fan of the New York Yankees AND the Dallas Cowboys. Having said all that he’s still worth a read on various topics and I’m sorry if this sounds a bit harsh.

Wow, very very wrong. Gruber, among people in his field, is the least afraid to speak truth to power. When you write like this I think you haven't followed him at all.
