That's excellent news fella, it's pukka that things have picked up for you. :)

Apple 'eh... that'll mean a move from Nevada to California then? Tough life 'eh. :D

So... what wheels are you motoring around in? :D And did the Jetta make it to Vegas? :p

It was almost certainly going to be one or the other. ;) :p

nah man, just working as a genius at the store here, but they do send me to cupertino for 2 weeks to get certified...

got me a triumph daytona 650 (license plate "evo") and a VW rabbit (basically a golf) (license plate "mac pro") but the trim here is more like the gti there, has a 2.5 inline 5 w/oodles of torque. well happy with it, was cruising back from san diego a while back toying with an infiniti g35 coupe averaging about 110 for 2 hours :)

so what's new in your world? .....moving over to PMs

Top is back in a week and with the next series comes the question: will it be good?

I've only seen the last four seasons or so and they've been a mixed bag - there have been highs (the 'ring in a van, all the challenges where they go out with a fixed amount and buy a car, the Stig crashing the CCX). But there have been lows too, like the "space shuttle" challenges and some of the other goofy challenges that are more about showboating than cars.

Clarkson has said he wants to get back to more driving and less shenanigans, and I hope he's serious.

Has anyone checked out the trailer for the new season? I'm avoiding it so as not to ruin the surprise. :)

I saw the trailer for tomorrow episode, if that's what you mean. My lips are sealed ;)

Gotta say though- Hammond's hair is giving me nightmares.

Sunday is going to be good.

If I crashed a jet power car and nearly died, I think I'd have aged too! ;)

Clarkson has less hair than ever, and as usual James' hairdo is about as old as the cars he like to drive. And Richard...hmmm, maybe he's taking style tips from Top Gear Dog.

Lucky Brits! I have to wait for the torrent :(

It's not fair, I don't see you guys waiting impatiently for our crap on TV....then again, I think that's because it really is crap :D

Apparently this season returns the focus to motoring rather than "cocking around in limos" and for that it should be applauded.

Tonight's episode felt a bit nervy, a bit apprehensive, but there is no doubt it is fantastic for it to be back on TV. 10 episodes is plenty of time for some Clarkson, Hammond and May goodness.

A perfectly acceptable start.
