I was just reading Sabine's wiki page to see what driving she has done before and I saw this as the only line under personal life...

They usually have a few test laps then one final lap which is their one that goes on the lap board.

I thought that too. At the start of the series I remember JC saying they had changed the rules and you were allowed so many practice laps and then your last lap is one that determines where you are placed.
I think JK suffers from short man syndrome too. I never thought it existed until I met my last boss
anyhoo even though he is a bit of a dick if I was in his position I would of done the exact same thing. Ringing up every week to get back on and then finishing top after so much anticipation. I might not of gone as mental as him but I would be just as pleased. Did JC say "see you in the autumn" at the end?
In my opinion, the funniest part was when the sound engineer's ( who did the JC's steering) arm fell off

During the news, when JC says "I went on the internet and found THIS!" and the camera cuts away to the crowd, what are they showing on the TV that we can't see?

Those guys have just the best job in the world, 6 episodes a year (+special), most of it filmed abroad, driving awesome cars, it dosn't get any better does it (if you overlook Hammonds near death experience!)?
