I'm on the iphone simplicity plan and I don't get visual voicemail.

From the o2 site:

Already got an iPhone and just looking for an iPhone tariff?
Choose one of our great value sim only tariffs for iPhone
Includes unlimited texts, web and Wi-Fi and visual voicemail
No long contract - enjoy the flexibility to cancel with just 30 days notice
Save £5 when you sign up for a 12 month plan

I'm banking on them having it as I plan to switch to this when my contract runs out!

o2 aren't saying anything via the phone when I asked for a PAC, said I was eligible for a Retention deal as I was a valued Customer 😀

Uhm, perhaps a stupid question but can you buy an unlocked iPhone from the UK and use in Sweden with my own sim card?
if current standings are anything to go by the phones wont be unlocked but you can get one unlocked by O2 and use it with any sim from round the world

I got that earlier when I tried to get a PAC.

They said that I could be eligible for extra minutes or reduced handset price. I thought this was just a 'normal' phone thing and didn't know it would occur with the iPhone. Anyone have a similar experience when upgrading to 3G S?

We'll see tomorrow. 😀 Hopefully atleast a fiver off or free insurance will do me.

I'm giving up on this thread until much later tonight/tomorrow.

It's time for the Microsoft E3 conference!

Sorry for the mundane question but...

I'm out of contract with o2 but intend to upgrade. When it's up on their website, I assume I can do the whole transaction online? I'm fortunate to get a 30% monthly discount as one of my mates works at o2, so going to another provider is out of the question. Besides, I've never had any real probes with o2 coverage.

I queued up for the 3G launch but Im not that fussed this time about getting it immediately, so long as it arrives within a couple of weeks I'll be happy - partly to do with getting an iPad I think, that's totally satiated my gadget lust....for now 🙂

Someone over at AV posted this:
'Jus off the phone with my best mate, assistant manager @ orange store Hull. The prices are on his system now.

Payg 32gb £570
payg 16gb £480

contract prices are £30 more than existing 3GS contract prices. Orders open in the morning. You must chose contract or payg as you order. Orange cannot provide any other micro sim at the moment other than the iPhone contract or payg, so no sim only shennanigans with them.'

Is douche American for tosspot or something?
I work for O2 marketing. You are hopefully aware of the daily iPhone 4 "countdown" emails that we have been sending out and I'm sure you'll be excited to hear that the topic of next Wednesday's email will be the definition of the term "douche" (we're really been struggling to find things to talk about by then).

P.S. Some, all or none of the above might be made up.

Any thoughts on pre-order time time tomorrow?

I think the Iphone 3G was made available for pre-order (as far as I remember) at 8am.

No idea what time the 3GS went up.

Do you think the Iphone 4 will be out of pre-orders by the end of the working day?
