I am, I'll have the iPhone under the duvet to not wake up the Mrs!

hope the sites work on an iPhone... ;)

Ive taken the day off tomorrow, will try to order tonight online, if not will be popping to the store tomorrow :)

Am I right in thinking the apple online store is the first port of call?

Hope the Orange phone prices aren't too much more. Fingers crossed though! Bet the networks are looking at each others pricing as it leaks/becomes available too.

Ok .. so are we forgetting that the new iPhone will not have the 12 months 'free' data/wi-fi bolt on (worth £120) .. so even if the prices 'look' more or less the same as for the 3GS they are at least £120 more .. grrr ..

I don't 'want' to stay with O2 but unless Orange do some kind of data 'add-on' I may have to!

And (last gripe) .. I want to see pricing!! now!!! grrrrrrrr!!
I've just been looking at all the existing PAYG prices to pass the time since no one is announcing iPhone 4 prices.

Now of course this probably will go the same way as O2's went, i.e. get withdrawn, but at least for now the Orange PAYG deal on iPhone 3GS still up on their site does bundle 12 months of free data (at 250MB monthly limit) and 12 months of free WiFi (at 750MB monthly limit) with a PAYG handset purchase.

On the basis of my research, when prices do go live then my first action will be to check Orange to see if they're doing 24-Jun PAYG (obviously!) and, if they are, then whether that 12 month of bundled freebies is still there.

If Orange "do an O2" and pull the offer then my next visit will be to T-Mobile in the forlorn hope that they launch PAYG but all the rumours seem to be that they won't have that at launch so more realistically my 2nd choice will be Vodafone who, in the present scheme, have a 50p/day cap on daily data charges (but also a data cap of 25MB) and sell a 30 day/250MB topup pack for £7.50 and, since I make virtually no voice calls, that means a data plan for £7.50 a month.

I would probably only run with Vodafone until T-Mobile launched PAYG which, based on their current pricing and data limits, I would move across to.

I sold my 16Gb 3GS yesterday on eBay for £290, was that a good deal? The money is going towards the iPhone4. :)

I sold mine for 325 yesterday. The price seems to have dropped a bit in the last couple of weeks, but still a good return i reckon!

Just noticed the unlimited browsing in that pic. But I assume there is a fair usage of like 500mb.

Wish they'd hurry up.
