O2 have updated their website slightly, no iphone 4 banner across top now on homepage, plus if you go to the iphone section, http://shop.o2.co.uk/update/iphone.html they seem to have changed things around a bit (i think) ...i was on the o2 website enough yesterday to notice some changes...

maybe, just maybe they are getting ready....but i've thought this for 4 days now!

I think O2 are being held back on this - they were sending out daily teaser emails related to the iPhone4 and now they've dried up. Makes no sense to incrementally ramp up interest from prospects only to let the campaign die.

I got a 3G on its launch day from O2 (delivered to the house) - I'm losing interest in the iPhone4 with all this beggaring about TBH.

So true!

Reminds me very much of iPad cases and camera conection kit!!

I was lucky enough to get one and feel for anyone that hasn't yet, seeing the over inflated eBay prices for an apple fan is a bitter pill :(

if someone were to walk into an apple shop on 24th and come out with 10 iphones to sell then i would agree with you..
but the odd person buying one extra phone to help with the cost of there own is hardly the biggest deal in the world.

How much are you selling yours for then? :D

Has there ben any confirmation as to whether a reserved iPhone on PAYG from the Apple store will be left unlocked the same as the sim free one. Or is it still murky waters on that subject.

bored bored bored!!!!

of waiting the the uk network pricing and tariffs. Have pre ordered two iphones for my wife and myself but will hopefully be changing networks if the pricing/tariffs are good but need this info to make an informed decision.

Why are they making this so difficult, just been to the Apple Store in Cardiff and they can't believe the demand for the iphone 4, but was positive that all networks had allocated stock and would have them for the 24th, so why don't they release their pricing. If it's Apple delaying them I don't see the advantage as they have no stock left, I also don't see any possible advantage of the networks delaying as there is still a huge demand for pre orders!

Hoping to move over to Orange from O2, but the recent mail from them with the statement 'at the moment we're planning to launch the iphone 4 on the 24th' does not fill me with confidence, AT THE MOMENT!! what does this mean????

Also hoping that Orange will enable us to order through their website to either pick up or collect I want to use Quidco, which will give me £80 (two new contracts) as this won't be available through Apple.

come on networks, get your act together!

16GB runs from £229 on 18 month @ £35 / month to £free on 24 month @ £75 / month
32GB runs from £319 on 18 month @ £35 / month to £29 on 24 month @ £75 / month

PayG prices: £480 for 16GB, £570 for 32GB - so yes, there is a minimal subsidy for PayG over SIM Free.

Orange plans seem well good... Hopefully o2, vodafone, three and the rest can follow now.

Guess I am sticking with O2 then (on a sim free iPhone4 32GB). £20 discount is not worth it + data is limited to 250mb a month.

O2 simplicity with unlimited data for me!

At last someone has broken silence. O2 need to seriously consider that Orange could steal a lot of customers now with their unlimited with FUP plans.

Bring on the other networks announcements now.

Why and how do these companies get away with advertising something as 'unlimited' and then sticking a 750Mb 'Fair Usage Policy' on top?

This wouldn't work if they advertised unlimited free minutes with a fair use policy of 600 minutes.

It's not unlimited, I don't see how Ofcom and the Regulatory bodies allow marketing in these ways.

* Separate Fair Usage policies of 750MB / month apply to both BT Openzone WiFi and Mobile Internet Browsing.

Is this for real, can't seem to access this from the Orange homepage!!!

Anyone else noticed the "rate plan " part of their pre-order?

Rate Plan:
No Voice Plan
No Data Plan
No Text Plan

Anyone think they'll be selling contracts on orders at a later date?

99.9% of people will be going for a 32GB, a 16GB with HD video recording is pointless so those prices are pretty steep tbh for the 32GB and long contract, O2 need to be competitive

Yep I have that too. This will be due to ordering the SIM free phone so is not tied into any carrier yet, so no voice, data or text plan associated.
