Yipeee. Woke up this morning and it's shipped.
I live in Central Scotland, order was placed 3.45pm on 15th. E-mail received at 03.20 this morning confirming phone was dispatched.
Carrier is UPS but delivery is estimated to be 25th
Tracking number not yet working on UPS Site.

Well I've finally found someone at work who can cover my shift for me tomorrow. That means I can now go and queue up at the local O2/Vodafone (still can't decide who to go with) store and get my iPhone 4. Can't tell you how excited I am right now. I'd given up all hope of getting one this month.
So, that leaves me with a question. I am on a 3G on O2 currently and obviously want to upgrade. Now when I pick up a new iPhone it comes with a micro sim, that I know. I assume O2 will activate it whilst I'm in the store? I originally registered online for one on the upgrade part of the site but haven't seen one yet. Is that a major issue??

I'd count yourself as lucky. I persevered and got an order through at mid-day on the 15th. I live in Kilmarnock, about 20 mins drive from Glasgow, and my expected delivery date according to my dispatch mail is the 28th.
Much unhappiness if that's true.......

Give the tracking numbers a few more hours, possibly even after lunch.
like some of you guys have stated, our orders have now shipped and received UPS tracking numbers which aren't quite working on the UPS site.
I guess chances of a delivery today are pretty slim then?

My info says 'Estimated Delivery: 24th June (subject to change) - kinda don't like the bit in brackets. fingers crossed

I am in Edinburgh and have also received the shipment notification, should get it tomorrow. Now comes the difficult bit of getting a microsim from Vodafone, when most VF people don't have a clue what you are talking about.
Apple may have boxed them up, scanned the tracking label into their system but UPS may not have picked them up yet. It is only 7:30 after all
log into the US apple store order status.. u should see your tracking number 1Zxxxxx..etc..
i use (one of) my favourite iphone/ipad app - "delivery status touch" to track packages, so it's easier than having to keep logging on to courier websites

I think this is likely to be true as Apple have not yet requested the payment from my bank account but I do have my shipped email.
Anyone know which tracking number (start 7
or 8
) and which TNT web site to use to track? Neither of the numbers quoted on the Apple site seem to be working using the following:

I don't know if this has already been answered - but just pop into an O2 shop and ask for a Pay & Go micro sim, bring your Apple reservation confirmation just in case they ask to see it. I picked one up yesterday and worked fine. But late last night I've decided to go with a Simplicity plan in the hopes the unlimited data will stick... hopefully O2 will give me another micro sim (pay monthly).
