Anyone know how to get the right tracking info? Am I bested contacting Apple or TNT?
 
Hi guys. First time posting as an occasional reader of the main site/blog.

My order status says:

Shipped to ILFORD, GB 23 Jun 2010
Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 24 Jun 2010 (Subject to change)
Current Delivery Status -Shipment dispatched 23 Jun 2010
Signed by

It seems its been dispatched already as I live in ilford.

Excited about getting new iPhone but more relieved that I'll have emails in my pocket again since I sold my 3GS!
 
Mines shipped via UPS. The money hasn't been taken from my account yet.

I'm off work today so will wait in just incase. Hubby is taking tomorrow off for me.
 
OK I've just spoken to UPS regarding the tracking number issue.

I was informed that the "Our Delivery Reference Number" should not be used to track via UPS website. What we need to do is use the "Tracking #: 1ZW" number.

Just looked back at my previous orders from the Apple Store. The "Due" date listed there is always the same date that my order shipped. This would seem to suggest that it is nothing to do with when the package is supposed to be delivered.

No. Out for delivery means its coming to your house, Shipment dispatched means its left apples hands

I'm glad someone agrees with me.

After all, it's just an invoice, nothing to to with specific delivery information or tracking.

in fairness all i said was what the invoice said......and i did say it prob wont happen, was just stating a fact what the invoice said, not what it meant!
 
My previous pre-apple buys would indicate you are going to receive these tomorrow.

If it was today your status would indicate out for delivery on the UPS website!

(last buy was the 27" imac so not that long ago).

On the bright side mines been dispatched:D One more day all:eek:

I had the same lat week on my invoice for the camera kit for iPad said due 18th but did not arrive till tuesaday think that date is dispatch date due

Same.

At a guess, they probably haven't been scanned anywhere yet, thus UPS has no data on it. That's what normally happens with ParcelForce tracking numbers...wait 6 hours and i bet they start tracking

Yep. You can even use the calculator on the UPS website - anything shipped today is 99% likely to arrive tomorrow. If your local depot receives the package early enough (i.e. this morning) then you may get it today. But it's really going to be tomorrow for us all.
 
If you are shipping with UPS logon to the order tracking on the US store and you will get a tracking number starting 1Z.... Still does not appear on UPS tracking yet. I suspect the system will get updated later today - I think nobody will get a delivery in the UK today. So, relax and watch the England game later. Oh wait, you can't really relax watching England.

Guys i need a quick question answering, Plan for me tomorrow is to queue at the Trafford Centre in a hope to get the iPhone 4 on PAYG, now my question is will they be accepting cash or just card only? I know in America they didn't sell the iPad for cash only for card so wondering if they will be doing something along the same lines as this here for the iPhone 4?

Any help would be appreciated.

I had this problem with my ipad which arrived monday. The whole 5 days while it was being shipped the tracking info was incorrect. It wasn't until I signed for it at my door that the info changed to the correct one.

My understanding is PAYG is card only (needed for the initial top-up, with is mandatory). Sim free you *should* be ok with cash, but they might have a card-only rule for launch day. Best to call in today or give them a call to check beforehand.

On a side note, I don't think any PAYG plans are available tomorrow anyway, so Sim free might be your only option.
