The U.K. iPhone 4 Thread

Have fun in the queues guys. Get talking to everyone.

I'm off to work in 30 mins. Hubby is waiting in for my phone which according to UPS is now out for delivery.


eta: We want photos of the queues too, nearest I'll be getting to the atmosphere this year.
 
I won't get mine today as I'm waiting for '3' because they are the only network to have sturdy and reliable 3G service in my area (West Mids).

Been with O2 for two years and only get 3G about 10% of the time
 
Will be heading to the O2 store in Bury soon. Doesn't open until 9.02, first time I've ever done anything like this. Worried that I'll be either be the only one there or too late!
 
I am stuck at work for a nother 90 minutes (if my colleague turns up on time). Any one got any tips on what might be my best course of action to get a 32GB on Vodafone contract.

I work dead in the city so was just going to try the various shops round here but from teh sounds of the number of people queuing I maybe out of luck.
 
At O2 in Macclesfield with my mate. We're 3rd and 4th in line, we've been here since 4:45.
There is now about 20 people in the queue.

who are going on Contract with the New iphone 4... what contract are you going on

How much a month etc?
 
I'm 5th in the reserved queue at cribs causeway Bristol apple store. About 30 in the non reserved queue. There's one person opposite at Vodafone. Cant see o2/orange from here.

Anyone else here?

Morning ppl......any1 know if the above means that it arrived today at exeter at 6am.......or that it's left exeter at 6am out for delivery?.......hope its the latter!!

Try ordering online. Their online orders open at 7am according to the e-mail Voda sent me last evening.
Might be able to get it by tomorrow if lucky.
 
Leaving o2 for Vodafone

Right im on a o2 contract which has run out months ago, i bought it from carphone warehouse, so when i want to cancel this contract who do i call?

About 20 but I can't see that well. Used the Peel Car Park entrance to get to the first floor but I think others are open now.

It means it's been received at the Depot, but not scanned yet to be loaded onto van.

To those of us who have TNT delivery, myne is now at "London Heathrow Airport Depot" at 5:48am
Funny thing is the status says "Shipment Recieved At Destination Depot"
But I'm all the way in Central London lol
My overal status is still "In Transit" still, so I'm guessing they will update that to "Out For Delivery" real soon, just getting a bit worried cause it doesn't even have a delivery date or anything, unlike UPS which does, and is a lot more detailed than TNT, like when my iPad came on Tuesday it had the delivery date, time, detailed info etc...

Any other people who are getting delivered via TNT have the same "London Heathrow Depot" location and the status as "Shipment Recieved At Destination Depot"?
 
Clapham Juction

Just walked along St John's Road, Clapham and passed stores for all 5 operators. As of 6:20am the queues were as follows:
O2 - around 20 people, seriously doubt they'll have this many phones
Orange - 2 people
Vodafone - 1 person

Best of luck to everyone queuing today. Hoping that mine gets delivered to work and that I'll actually be bleeped to be told it has arrived, last time a parcel was sent to one of my places of work it disappeared for two days with everyone denying all knowledge. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

mines from tnt and said it arrived at exeter depot 6:02am.....hence i'm also worried!
