The U.K. iPhone 4 Thread

Am outside the O2 store at the Glasgow Fort. Got here at 5.30am. First in line with my deckchair, juice and sandwiches. They better have stock!

Doesn't open until 10am, but hopefully they'll open earlier.

Makes me wonder how guys who do this pee...

Theres no PAYG for Orange at launch, I preordered and paid a deposit last week for a payg, and was told it was fine instore, got a call yesterday from the store saying there will be no payg at launch, so went down got my deposit back and ordered from apple.

Are you sure it's not just some stores? I popped in to my local Orange store (Kings Rd, London), and told to write down my details on a post-it and they're "try" to hold one back for me. I got a voicemail from the manager y'day advising me they've reserved a 32GB PAYG for me until midday!

Is it true what I'm reading that Orange PAYG aren't coming with SIM cards??!

I have a 16GB reserved at Apple on Regent Street just incase!

o2 in barnsley still picking up nicely. Around 10 in the queue now. Not long to go until i get my iPhone 4.

First in the queue is so awesome. Except now i need a piss from all the Red Bull.

Just to say good luck to everyone whose heading or is out!!!!!

I wanna see lots of pics of the queue and the process! Always wanted to go to a launch :(

Although mine is out for delivery wooooo

Happy Birthday to me, and UPS...

Did I mention anywhere on this thread that it's my Birthday today? (yeah a thousand times!)

UPS for me states OUT FOR DELIVERY.

Happy Days!

And for everyone out and about in the streets...

"Be Careful Out There"

The day is finally here. Good luck everyone and hope the best. Just heading out myself. Don't think I've been awake this early in about a year.:)

Currently the only person sat outside the Orange Overgate store in Dundee. Been here since about 5.10am. Determined to get my hands on the only 32gb they have!

Suns just started to come out, so I've gone from pretty chilly to nice and toasty. :D

Had reserved one from Apple which is not due to be shipped until 14th July, but I'm thinking of cancelling this and going with Tesco instead.

Can't decide between the 16gb or 32gb. It's £80 extra over the year on the £20pm contract. I'm not sure if I'd really need that much memory, I'm not the type to fill my phone with songs as I'll only put a handful of them on, I'd imagine it would be mainly videos and apps on my iPhone.

Is the resale value for the 32gb much higher than the 16gb one? how much could I expect for it if I was to sell it in a year's time?

Dozen people or so queueing outside the Kings Road shop in London by 6am. Still a couple more hours to go till they open shop.

Edit: 20 now. @ 6:20

Well if the 3GS is anything to go for you'd at least get £300 for a 32GB in a years time.

In fact I would even say you'd get even more because this phone does have a very nice spec etc and will be still very desirable in a years time.
