Don't want to alarm anyone but my iphone4 has just developed a yellow spot, it was fine when i first started using it as it was the first thing i checked for.
Mine too has a yellow blob bottom left hand corner.
I got my sim on Tuesday, it activated within 10minutes.
Is the sim in your phone now? As I put it in straight away then I saw signal come.

Cheers bud - I'm just down the road off the A12. Did you get a TNT van or unmarked? I usually get an unmarked van when getting deliveries from TNT.

If you upgraded a monthly contract from O2 in a shop this morning when you bought your phone. They should have started the SIM activation process for you in store (they will have typed in the SIM and IEMI number into the computers).
You should have service on your old phone and no service on your new one. To give it a "nudge" - power off your old phone and your new iPhone4 and then power on your iPhone4 only. That may speed things up activate your new SIM, provided it is in the pending queue.

This was going so well, now we have UK 3 user's with the same issue!

A friend about 100 yards away got his delivery with TNT about an hour ago, he's not even home to appreciate it haha.
Still waiting for sim to transfer over here as well. Did it about 2 hours ago. Guy on the phone said it can take up to 24 hours.

Went to my local tesco, had 17 16gb and 6 32gb in stock. I was second In line at 7am, number 1 guy had been there since 6. By 9 only about 12 people in line, most of the 32 sold out though. Purley tesco might still have some in stock for anyone in croydon. I got a 32, and my dad and uncle got 16s. only thing that held up line was credit check
I will wait as the chances of the replacement having exactly the same issue is likely to be high!
