I do feel a little bit of jealously today. After purchasing the iPad and needing a new Mac and with a hideously long contract with o2, I am sticking with my 3GS. Once this contract is finally over I am moving to Tesco and going on their 12 month contracts.

I was down stairs at the orange shop, we got a bloke come out with the iphone to play with. only had 2 x 32gb iphones. saw the Q upstairs and it was long by 7.30.
i herd some knob up there doing a countdown too. when i got my 3g from there i got a free muffin water and some lovely ladies to chat to.
at orange i had a fat bloke, wheezing and wearing extremely coloured orange crocs, i think i win. didn't even get an iphone in the end,
Anybody else waiting for the O2 SIM swap to go through?
At the minute I'm sat with the old SIM that's got no service, so I can't cut that one down, and the new uSIM with no service so I can't activate the new phone!

i laughed this morning at meadowhall - a vodafone member of staff was chatting to people waiting in the o2 cue - one of the o2 staff started having a go at him!
picked up mine from the apple store, was 8th through the door - might have been first out as I picked mine up sim-free. Well looked after by the staff, with free drinks and muffins!

Apple Glasgow expect to sell out of all iPhone 4 handsets today. They had already split the non-reservation queue when I last passed by at 9.30am, people beyond a certain point were not guaranteed a handset today unless people failed to collect or failed credit checks.

Orange in WGC are always pretty rubbish. O2 are normally quite good but they hadn't had a delivery of Microsims in at the start of the week when you were meant to be able to get them from Monday, so ended up having to go to Stevenage to get one.
It's more noticable when the display is brighter I would say. It doesn't look as yellow though it goes a more washed out shade of yellow.
Will I be getting a replacement? Damn right I will be. This is £500 worth of kit. You wouldn't accept that on a £350 TV never alone a mobile phone. I will wait for all the hustle and bustle of week one to die down before booking myself in at the Genius Bar.

Yeah I had a coffee too, needed more milk. The guy serving was a little tight when it came to dispensing the milk.
If it was a failed delivery it would have shown by now as it apparently takes 30mins for online status to change. Hopefully someone else was getting one delivered or something.

Apple Trafford Centre had bumpers in this morning. Docks as well which were/are showing as July availability online.
