Email arrived at 10.21am today, I only checked my email 40 minutes ago.

It's a 32GB iPhone 4.

I've been waiting since the first Saturday after Launch.

Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully only a couple more days for me left!

Anyone found good cases in london for their iphone 4?
I don't want the bumper cause I'm worried about the back and the front.
Something like full body case.
Only found them for the older generation. Now trying to find them online at amazone but don't think they are going to....
(sorry for any mistakes in the text to tied to write properly)

If you're after a case, id hold out for the one from here - http://www.tech21.uk.com/index.html
It's made from a non-Newtonian material called D30, basically its soft to touch and then hard when impacted. It's released in a couple of weeks i think and only around £20! Check some of the videos out on youtube, they drop iPhones from 4 story's and they survive! crazy stuff!

I've been to the O2 store today with the multiple issues I've got with the 4, in a nutshell they weren't interested. They stated the issues are entirely with apple so I should go there. Fortunately it's nearby so I went and spoke to them, they were less than impressed with O2 but made an appointment with a genius and said if I'm not happy at the end then they'll swap it for a new one.
O2 are as much use as mudflaps on a tortoise.

I'm happy again. Got a 16GB iPhone 4 from Tesco last Friday and from monday the home button started to play up. Sometimes double tap wouldn't work to bring up multi-tasking, sometimes one click wouldn't close application.
Booked a genius appointment at Brighton Apple store. Got it exchanged for a new one, the guy said that it was a faulty home button. The diagnostics did not tell him anything, since I had reset the device and installed the new 4.0.1 software.
The guy got the phone out of a sealed box, which just had the phone in it. Then activated it for me, so I assume it is a totally new device.

Overall I'm really happy, good customer service and a quick fix. Also got a black bumper to stop any possible signal problems, since we all know its not software related!!

Tech21's Jason Roberts was on Dragon's Den after investment. He got £150k for 40% share of Tech21 from Theo and Peter.

After a lot of blood, swear and tears I finally received my iPhone 4 32GB. And after all the hassle Tesco gave me I could have given them double but I'm far too nice and honest a guy to do so.

Anyway, TBH I'm bitterly disappointed with it - the design (it feels horrible and awkward to hold), the signal and reception are terrible (don't know whether this has something to do with fact I'm with Tesco/O2), Push doesn't seem to work, the camera quality aint as good as I thought it would be AND bloomin Tesco do not have a Call Waiting service!!!

Gonna play about with it for a couple of days and see how I feel then - maybe wait and see what Steve Jobs says later. But right now, if I could, I'd go and get a 3GS if it meant saving some money.

DO NOT BUY A TESCO MOBILE PHONE UNLESS YOU NEED JUST THE BASICS!

I mean an iPhone 4 - supposedly one of the most techiest phone but you CANNOT use call waiting!!! Tesco, sort it out!

this is what concerns me about these networks that piggy back off others, i always wonder if theyll have all the features available!

Free Bumpers!

Steve Jobs has just revealed in the press conference, every iP4 buyer gets a free case, not necessarily a bumper. Anyone who has bought one gets a refund!

getting my free bumper as soon as i can... :D

Are there any good alternatives to bumpers? Worth £25 or more which apple will give for free?

Hmm, censoring comedy sites, etc, feels like a dealbreaker to me.

I am in two minds about this.

I resent the censorship - but they will remove it *if* I pay for an internet bolt-on. The bolt-on gives me even more wireless data too. It brings the monthly cost to the same as O2.

If a jailbreak arrives - I may be able to manually change the APN to the uncensored one.

I am going to try talking to a human being in a Three shop. And see if I can make sense of the situation.

I'd be a bit cautiously optimistic about that refund option....as he made a reference to not paying for 3rd party cases...
Plus...considering that they aren't showing any iPhone4 cases on the Apple website.... it might not happen till later in the month at the earliest... hence the offer up to 30th Sept.

It'll be a special page, just for iPhone 4 users.

Presumably you'll enter your Serial Number and then you'll be able to choose one case out of a selection.

do you think apple will refund me the shipping cost of the bumper aswell, or just the £25 cost of the bumper because i purchased mine online after i got my iphone 4 so i had to pay for postage

Hi all, quick question for anyone on a Tesco Mobile pay monthly contract, if you have a problem with the phone can you go direct to an Apple store to get it fixed/replaced or do you have to talk to Tesco first?

You can go to the Apple Store if you have a problem with your phone.

You will probably get a instant replacement if you go to the Apple store, also they may even give you a unlocked phone

Well in short this afternoon i told Tesco where to go and was looking around different websites and found Vodafone had some stock so i have ordered from them and my Iphone 32GB has been dispatched as of this evening :D

I'm just not happy with the marks the bumper has left on my phone :mad:

Im thinking if returning it, but I'll bet they blame me for them!

I'm defo gonna ditch the bumper and go back to a iPod sock never had a problem with my 2/3G or 3GS!
