are you going for real with the ip4 London reservation or, there is a chance you will give it up like the Belfast reservation ?
Belfast is 100% give-up. London is 50/50 chance, don't know yet - will leave the city Friday night, don't know about return date yet.

In case i'll be able to buy iPhone before departure, 100% give-up probability for London reservation. :)

But it seems to me, no one will provide me with unneeded reservation in two days. :(

going to the apple store in london, whitechapel today. Might be able to get hold of an iphone 4 case. The weird thing is that the cases have the same problem as the phone.....THEY NEVER HAVE ANY IN STOCK!!!!!!!!

They just ask you for e-mail and confirmation code. No ID required.

BTW, in addition to Belfast reservation, also have reservation in London, placed 12/07, not sure about possibility to collect it (50/50). Will be gratefull for tomorrow or today pickup. ;)

where can i find the confirmation code ?
i get an email today ordered at 03 july

Just wondering if anyone else is still having problems with Visual Voicemail. O2 said it's an overloaded network and will be fine in a few days, that was like 2 weeks ago...

Basically I setup the whole account password and all, then later down the line (about a few hours) it'll lose all knowledge of me setting it up. It's frustrating as hell!

Any ideas?

Spent a good few days last week phoning Tesco stores to be told one or all of the following: 1)There is no reserve list 2)There's a reserve list with a lot of people on it 3)We don't know when we're getting more 4)We're not getting any until the end of the month 5)We can't tell you whether or not we have stock, you have to physically go to the store.

I'm out of contract with O2 having been with them since the first iPhone was released. Their new tariffs aren't competitive, so I wanted to move to Tesco. Yes, I could wait until supply is outstripping demand but I'd like one now, I just wish that Tesco would have a better system in place for this. :-(

I'm tempted to go with either Orange or Vodafone as the Carphone Warehouse website tells me they both have it in stock (32Gb only on Vodafone) - their tariffs are not the worst (as opposed to O2!) but I'd still be tied in to 18 months. Having said that, iPhone4 is a fairly big step up from the 3GS and I'm wondering if next June will even see another new handset?

Alternatively, has anyone had any experience of being an existing O2 contract holder (as I am) and offered a better tariff than the published ones to stay with them?

where in the mail is the confirmation code?
my friend got mail and he can't see confirmation code.

(I'm asking for him, I still need one frm someone who can give me).

T-Mobile

Hi everyone,

Anyone has news on when t-mobile uk is coming out with the iPhone?

They've teased us with pricing and IMMINENT release but why is it taking so long?

Probably no stock and they are waiting until about August to make them available?!

I can't wait no longer and Android is calling out to me and it's being hard not to listen.

Hey, I'm in the exact same boat as you. I was an o2 customer and when they announced their tarriffs, I thought this was as good of a time as any to look elsewhere. I also am hoping to take a contract with Tesco, but as you rightly said, they never seem to have any in stock. I have been chasing my local store for about a week and a half now and everytime I call I'm told on of the following stories 1) no idea when they will be in stock, as they don't know whats coming in on the delivery (what a great system) 2) they are expecting delivery in the next few days.

I was told today that they received an email informing them that they would be getting stock at the end of the month ... once again no date was given.

I totally agree with you about having a better system in place to deal with this, though I don't wish to compromise with the offer I'm getting and switching to Orange or Voda simply because they have stock now.

iPhone 4 case Glasgow

Cany anyone tell me where you can you get the iPhone 4 case to improve signal. I live in Glasgow, is it only from the Apple store or is there other stockists.

Does anybody know someone's case that he ordered from Apple Online Store when estimated shipping time was 3 weeks and he get his iPhone 4 earlier (for example after 2 weeks..)?

Answering my own question re: retentions, O2 will offer me NOTHING to stay with the with iPhone4, which means my number will go now, and the two other iPhones in my house will go in December when their contract is up. I'd just really like an iPhone 4 now (wouldn't everyone?) but am wavering because of the same reason you are, do I want to compromise and be tied in when if I wait a while I could get a 12 month contract!

Just phoned my three local Tesco stores again and was told the same thing by them, that they are expecting more at the end of the month but no date given :-(

Finally got an email today to say that I could pick up my iPhone. I requested a reservation on 3 July.

By the way, I asked about bumpers, and was told they had to send them all back to Apple.

Two questions:

1. Visual voicemail. Where can this be found? Is it just in the "phone" section and then you click the voicemail tab on the bottom right? Because when I do this, it just rings Orange voicemail and I have to use their regular voicemail, no visual aspect about it.

2. I can just walk into any Apple store with my iPhone 4 and they will give me a free bumper? Do they take a model number etc? How do they know I've not already claimed my free bumper?

That's because Orange don't support Visual Voicemail (currently only O2 do).

It seems to depend on the store. I was told by Regent Street today that they sent them all back to Apple and we have to wait for the announcement online.

Visual mail is only available on O2.

I have 2x ip4, 1x on o2 and 1x on orange. I tried the o2 phone out for a couple of weeks and then tried the orange unsurprisingly I'm keeping the orange phone. And I've palmed the o2 off elsewhere.

To anyone still waiting on the priority list, I've been waiting since the beginning of July and haven't heard a thing.

However I ordered one from the online store 10 days ago, and I received an email to say that it has been shipped today. So much for the 3 week wait! :D

What are the best screen protectors for the iP4? I don't mean the Zagg I just want a regular protector (front + back) that protects from scratches and doesn't hinder the awesome screen with a crappy mirrored finish. :)

Yes that was the same as mine, but got an email earlier saying it has been dispatched. Hopefully yours will too!
