Went into the Manchester Arndale store yesterday. They said I'd have to order a bumper online, citing that it would be chaotic if they offered them free in store. Wonder when they'll start offering them on the site.

Given up waiting on Tesco Mobile. Gone with Orange on a Business tariff. 18 months, £40 +VAT per month, 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data, £129.00 for the 16Gb. Phoned the store yesterday, reserved one for pickup this morning. Haven't plugged it in yet but looking forward to it.

Anyone knows when the bumper programme would kick off in the UK? Seems the app they launched is only applicable to the US customers.

Just got an email saying my reservation is at the store. Don't know whether to go through with it. What's the latest on the current batch - any problems fixed yet?

Apple won't have any fix for it any time soon.

Their so called fix is the free bumpers that they're giving out until September, after which they may just possibly release new hardware with a fix.

Had an iPhone4 with 3 with a couple of weeks. Seem to get 4 or 5 bars of proper 3G performance almost everywhere I go. Not just cheaper than O2 - but better coverage.

The biggest downsides are a largely useless call-center for customer service. And a very lame "content filter" on the mobile internet access.

C.

I've just signed on to 3, so far so good except for this damn restriction. From the last post on this page it is suggested that the restriction can be lifted by changing your internet add on from "Internet Max" to "X-Series Silver". I'm going to get in touch with 3 tomorrow and see if I can get them to do this for me, ill keep you up to date.

Anyone having issues connecting to the Internet (3G or EDGE) on Three after upgrading iOS 4.0.1 and Three Carrier Settings (7.2)?

I have tried everything (reset, restore) but no internet at all.

if anyone is interested, there is now a BBC news app on the app store, and a BBC Sport app will also be out soon!

and it looks rubbish on the iPhone 4

Yes your right, better sticking with the website , only good thing is it plays the vids which don't work on the site.

If anyone has got a Touchwood or Bullring reservation for an iPhone 4, I'll gladly have it!

Can't believe I've got to wait another 3 weeks.. uugh

I called in at O2 in the Trafford Centre today. I wasn't expecting much, but they had "loads" (according to them) in stock.

So, I got myself a 32GB :)

There are loads of phones available if you want contract. My cousin walked into an Orange shop and picked up his 32GB one and signed a 2yr contract. Last week another cousin got his O2 one as well. Both had been informed that they had many more phones. Contracts ones don't seem to be in that much of a short supply, but i am sure in certain places and on certain networks - yeah, they are probably hard to come by.

Its the SIM unlocked ones sold by Apple directly that nobody can get a hold of.
