Ordered last night via CPW on Vodafone. Out for delivery today. Pity I'm at work and DHL are delivering to my house...

Guys, its really brilliant idea to share information on unwanted IPhones/phones you are unable to collect from Apple Store and ready to provide.

I have reservation for iP4 32gb black in Belfast, reservation placed 06 jul, estimated pickup - next week, will be unable to collect this one.

Looking for iP4 in London, this week.

I placed a reservation with the Regents Street Apple Store on the 28th June. Has anyone been able to pick up reservations (at any Apple Store) around that date?

Mine was made at regent street on the 28th about 8pm ish (just before white city closed) and I got email yesterday at 5pm, and had it in hand by 6:30pm :)

The guy said they have loads of phones in stock, its just taking them time to send out the emails to customers, they send out about 1000 per day according to him.

Hi Hellsau, and Mac Rumors I suppose...

I'm in Belfast, and I'd take that iPhone you can't pick up next week, well, if no one asked for it yet.

Thanks,
Gary

I have no idea how to send a pm as this is my first post, so sorry about the unnecessary clutter.

Gstrain33, post your e-email and i'll send you information as soon as i receive confirmation letter from Apple.

walk in customer no way

on the list and if you get the email = thumbs up.

Are we seriously still in a situation where if you walk into an Apple Store, cash in hand, they won't sell you a phone there and then? That seems ridiculous, why not have some stock for walk-ins and some for reserved (esp. if they're having trouble getting the emails out quick enough to people who have reserved, as posted above)?

So if Apple get (say) 5000 iPhone 4s in one delivery, you want them to hold back (say) 1000 for walk-ins - meaning that there will be 1000 people who have reserved and waited for their reservation who don't get their iPhone 4 for as long as a fortnight just so that the greedy/lazy who can't be bothered to put their name on a list can get their iPhone 4 earlier?

That's just not right - why should the people who've waited and queued get pre-empted and have to wait even longer? If you want an iPhone 4 then you'll have to get to the back of the queue!

Think different, mate. Artificial deficit multiplied by agressive hype is the best way to raise sales. ;)

And here we go - everyone wants sim-free iP4 (even with all of its flaws) but you can't buy sim-free iP4 neither in UK nor in France without priority list.

Smart move, Apple.

Hi All,

I plan to get my White iP4 32GB on launch day,

Anyone know if I can upgrade my O2-UK contract in the Apple store?
And seeing as I'm on the tariff that gets me the 32GB for 29 pounds, I will only have to pay 29 pounds for the phone in an Apple store, or will I have to go to the o2 shop to do this?

Thanks.

if anyone has an unneeded iphone 4 that he ordered from regent street, I'll be there from this Friday to Monday.
