Thanks for the info man, could you tell when it arrives? I hope it doesn't take another whole week to come after shipping. (Sending from china).

It's looking like mine might take about a week altogether for the shipping... It's still saying it's in Arnhem in the Netherlands. TNT said it should arrive in the UK by tonight or tomorrow. It then has to get a ferry over to the Isle of Man, my estimated delivery is Monday... Ahhh I want it to hurry up! Waited so long!

Just called Tesco mobile again - no stock today :(

This has got to be the most trouble I've had getting hold of any iPhone since the 2g.

Does anyone else have any success stories getting the IP4 on Tesco mobile?

Thanks Apple. Had my name on priority list for 32gb. No email. Phoned them up yesterday - "reservation list has finished. Come in, we have lots of stock"

Aye, it's getting daft now. As of yesterday, every (yes, every) O2 store in the NW of England had stock. Apple Stores (Trafford and Liverpool)? Not a bean. Apple online? "Ships in 3 weeks". WTF is going on with their distribution system?

EDIT: ajnicho, which store was that?

Anyone got the Noreve leather flip case for the iPhone 4? http://www.noreve.com/category/Smartphone_Apple/product/Housse_cuir_Apple_iPhone_4_Tradition.html

What do you think of it? I'm trying to decide between that, and the Exspect flip case.

I have the exspect one at the moment (it was the only flip case I could find on amazon and it's very good!) but have the noreve one on order. It takes 15 - 20 business days to make.
I ordered the noreve one on the basis of the case I had from them for my e-reader. The workmanship is excellent and it fits the e-reader just perfectly.
I've been thru a couple of vaga flip cases for my iPhone 3GS and although they pricey the quality wasn't very long-lasting at all.
Will post again once the noreve case comes through :)

Recieved mine from Tesco yesterday :D excellent phone the display is unreal and amazingly good. Love the camera the most I think and the overall speed of the phone.

Now thinking about jailbreaking... but im not sure... (Just want sbsettings really... i think its a pain to go into settings to switch things on and off and adjust brightnes)

I dont know why apple dont implement some sort of brightness function with the volume keys... for instance.. you could hold the home button down.. then press the volume keys to adjust brightness... i would love that

edit: Could someone tell me if this > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxD9aVfup7E&feature=channel is a safe way to jailbreak my iPhone 4. Also will it be ok to do this even though it is on a Tesco Contract ? (Only ever jailbroke an ipod before) Thanks for your time

Yeah that's the best way to Jailbreak mate. Doesn't matter which network. I'd do it through Wi-Fi though, it'll download quicker!

How's the Tesco network running for you? Speed wise etc

cool thanks man, tesco network is running fine! the antenna issue is still an issue when holding it that way... but hopefully the case thats on its way will solve that.

Its still speedy and get good signal (4 bars most of the time, although just looked right now and its at 5 bars)

My 18 month O2 contract (iphone 3G) is up at the start of September and I think I can renew the contrat now.

If I walk into an O2 store what are the chances of walking away with an iphone 4 (is their stock available or a long wait)?

My 3G was the 35/month contract, is there a concensus on which the best value for money iphone 4 contract is? I'll probably go for the 32GB and at the minute thinking the £30/month contract.

Well, I take it all back - Liverpool Apple Store had stock of 16 and 32Gb phones today, so if you're in the area give them a go. They were going pretty fast when I was in earlier though, so might be worth calling first if you need to make a journey over there.

EDIT: Broric, look here for O2 stock levels.

3's £30 a month contract is best value. Also you get £64 Quidco if ordering online

Isn't 3 in-store only at the moment for iPhone 4? Otherwise, yeah, that deal is good as long as you get a decent reception and don't mind a 2 year deal.

hello!!!!

I m flying to London next week and I would like to know from some London residents if there are any iPhone 4 available at the Apple Store Regent street.

thanks in advance.

Don't know about the Regent street store but try the new Covent Garden store, apparently they have more iPhone 4's than anywhere else in the world.

With the Exspect case, did you have any problems with the hole for the camera and flash? I've heard of a few people having to make the hole bigger themselves.

I phoned on tuesday night and they luckily had some in, got it yesterday morning :D quick delivery, just keep trying them everyday, apparently they get more stock every week.
