But I've moved into the SS with black sports strap camp. I'm not ruling out getting nudged into the Milanese loop camp.

What I wanted to do, was to purchase the Watch Sports Silver Aluminum case with the black sports band, and eventually get the Milanese band separately.

Now, that I see that's not an option(Thanks Apple), I'm considering either a), Getting the Watch Sports Silver Aluminum case with the white sports band(I don't want this, but there would be no choice), and purchase an extra black sports band, and then again later purchase the Milanese band.

Then my last choice, would be the Watch Sports Space Grey Aluminum Case with black sports band, and possibly later get the black leather loop band.

I wish that Apple's website let you put different cases and bands together. I've seen the 2 websites that people have made to do this, but they don't include the new black leather loop band.

I think Im going with the Stainless Steel with Milanese loop. That watch looks very upscale. I was thinking Sport with milanese loop but would rather have the Sapphire Glass.

I've been thinking the same thing. I think I'm just going to take my chances and try it on first. If worst comes to worst I'll show up at the midnight release.

Initially I'll be purchasing the 38mm Stainless Steel Apple Watch with the White sport band. Then after getting used to it, I'll pirchased either the Classic buckle or the Milanese loop.

I'm leaning towards the 38mm white Sport.

If money was no object, I'd go for a 38mm SS link bracelet, but alas I can't justify it at that price.

I'm considering a 42mm Sport as I think it would go quite nicely with a blue or black leather loop, but I think I'll much prefer the smaller size (and then it'd be another £129 for the strap...)

Why isn't that an option? Why can't you purchase the Milanese loop separately?

Wow so many options! I personally cannot decide between a Sport Aluminum and the Stainless Steel. It’s that with the Sport I will pay a fair price and I will be able to add more bands and still make it be equal to or less than the price of the Stainless Steel Watch. On the other hand ( I have the money to spend) I want the Stainless Steel with Milanese AND White Sport; for certain occasions.

If I get the Sport, I will buy $399 (White Sport Band included) and an extra $149 for milanese loop equaling $548. (Yet again, fair price)

If I get Stainless Steel, I will pay $750 (With Milanese included) and maybe an extra $50 for White Sport band making it $800.

Again I have the money but I till think that paying $548 is a far better deal because white sport band is included.

Was planning to get the standard edition, but I refuse to pay a $200 premium for sapphire glass and steel. And that's before the strap upgrades. Way too expensive.

So, a 42mm Sport Edition it is -- with strap in either blue or black. Hopefully the glass is still somewhat scratch resistant on the Sport, and I actually like the matte aluminium look better.

The cheap looking strap can probably be switched with a third party one

You can always Buy with out paying on the night of pre orders what you believe is the watch you will most want. Then if you change your mind after viewing the watches them self, apple has confirmed you can indeed change bands and cases and etc... On launch day before paying.

I am really tempted to buy the space black SS  Watch but not sure if it's worth paying $1,100 for a first generation product. Might buy the space black  Watch Sport model for now.
