It is what I expected. I would think most people are not interested in a pink or green band, even white is a little loud. Black is nice and safe, and is why that is the one I'm getting.

True. For some reason it looked like the underdog that doesn't belong when the Watch was introduced, lol, which is what made me interested in it. But it looks like they'll be everywhere...

2 out of about 300 voted for an Edition. If they aren't trolling, that's pretty impressive considering the price!

With all the people getting the Space Grey Sport model I might end up with the white band/silver aluminum instead.

Guess they're saving champagne for next-gen.

Wow no takers on the 42mm SS white sport band. I actually expected that one to do pretty well.

I'm cool with it being every where as long as I look down at my wrist and see the watch I like. What I'm concerned about is people taking my pre-order...

I always get nervous when pre-ordering online especially after the brain fart apple.com had for the iPhone 6 launch. And now I'm even more nervous seeing the majority of people want the same exact watch as I do :(

Sport / Silver Aluminum / Blue Sport Band / 42mm initially, but will be buying the Milanese Loop loop to swap it with immediately.

i wish to buy the SS black.
hoping that the black will not be the same material as the Space Black iPhone5

if there is a scuff gate i go for the SS silver one - but i really like this 449 Dollar Band

Hopefully the cheapest stainless steel and a third party party. Won't be getting one for some time though.

why is the modern buckle only available on the 42mm?

i'm torn. i like the milanese loop, but it looks a tad blingy for everyday use. i'm not a fan of the ribbed leather loop; i really like the modern buckle, but it isn't available on the 42mm. and then i really almost convince myself the black stainless steel with link bracelet is the way to go, but that's just too much to spend on a first gen product. and i'm back to square one not knowing which model to buy.

Sorry it took me a solid 15 minutes to input all the options haha. It should be up now! I figured this would be a great way to visualize the popularity of the different models!

Great idea, thanks for taking the time to do this!

I was one of those people.

But I've moved into the SS with black sports strap camp. I'm not ruling out getting nudged into the Milanese loop camp.

I'm on the space gray sport/SS with black sport strap fence myself. What made you decide on SS? While I like the space gray aluminum, I just think SS looks (and will likely feel) nicer. I also worry about scratches and dents on the case and face of the aluminum. But, is the sports band with the SS going to look like a mismatch? Decisions, decisions...

I can't make up my mind :/ I keep jumping between Sport and Stainless Steel.

I like the Sport because I'll be able to change Color of bands every once in a while depending on which band I feel like using. Also I'll be able to put the Milanese which is my most wanted band on the Sport. But I tend to scratch watches very easily (I'm 16) and I think this one will really scratch.

But then again the Stainless Steel just looks marvellous! It's beautiful and shiny! But i think Color bands like the green one will look very bad on it. Very ugly in other words. I'll only be able to put a white or black band on it in order for it to look alright. On the bright side I'll also be able to put the Milanese band which will look a bit better than it will on the Sport.

What do you guys think will be a better fit for me? I'm a 16 year old male, and play basketball. I will be using sport bands to school and then fancy Milanese one when I go out. Thanks.

Interesting poll... I was in agreement with the majority - space black sport however having considered it more I'm going to get a sport with blue band. My reason is I think the space black is really limited in which straps it goes with. I'll buy a sport with blue band and get an extra black one to go with it.

Been looking to the forums for recommendations, and I think I have gotten myself more confused as to what I want ... Just wish I knew for sure what the release cycle was going to be ... I have a pebble watch and a Sony Smartwatch 2 when I was sporting android, as well as a gear fit band. Of all 3 I enjoyed the gear fit band the best because of the clean look as well as practicality. I have a Skagen stainless steel watch with a milanese style band that I wear when im all suited up ...

I want the Stainless Watch with the link band, but think $1100 is too much for a gen 1 device, so bumping myself down to the Stainless with milanese loop. However, if a new watch is coming out next year, would want to consider the aluminum in the meantime to see any big advances in battery life and style.

Ugh! Best suggestion ive seen so far is to order the one I want and then while trying on in the store, if I feel like a change can do so then ... dont know i'd be any more clear at that point though ...

Love the looks of the Sport Space grey (42mm). Would be interested in trading someone my black S/M band for a green M/L band though!

So many people are undecided which watch they want b.c of the various straps. I do not think enough people are asking themselves, "will I really change the strap that often?" At a starting price of $50 per band, it can become expensive very fast.

I originally voted 42 mm silver sport with white strap. I know now that I am getting a 38mm silver sport with a pink strap to start. I plan on buying all the sport straps at some point. I like to switch it up.
