That’s odd. I’m doing an upgrade thru Verizon, ordered thru Verizon app, and I still got charged a $30 upgrade fee today. Ordered at 12:58 MST. 11/3 ship date.
 
I see the phones tax charged only on my CC however I think the $30 fee is also added to the total....
 
Ordered two phones on separate orders to avoid getting screwed like last year, at 2:57am and 3:25am EST. Confirmation emails received shortly after order. Got new email at 7pm 10/28 that payment failed. Updated payment info via their link, and was instantly charged for the 2:57 order. Estimated delivery of 11/3 vanished as expected. Called to confirm, and rep said it has shipped. However, she said I would get it before 11/3, so her credibility was diminished significantly. Advised her not to suggest that to other customers, as that is extremely rare.

As of ~11pm EST still haven't been charged for the second order. Luckily that one is the wife's :). No tracking can be located via all the reference number tricks. Not concerned, but I hope my info helps.
 
My order is “processing”. I know some are using the reference number. How and what do we need to search that way?
 
So I'm talking to a verizon rep about how much ill be charged and when and I asked him to verify shipping address since on the order page it says something about store he told me that it will arrive in 2 days by 8pm. I asked him again if that was correct and he said you read that right in 2 days by 8pm. Is that even possible?

I’ve never seen a preorder iPhone arrive before launch day. And I’ve been preordering since the 4S. But I’d love to be wrong.

They are just confused. The free shipping we all selected and received is two-day shipping. It will likely ship on 11/1.
 
I pre-ordered my iPhone X on the verizon website and received 11/3 delivery. However, it didn't list an option to buy apple care.

Can I still purchase apple care from the Apple Store after I receive my phone???
 
I’ve also had variance in who has shipped my preorders. Most of the time it’s been UPS, but for my 6 Plus and 6S Plus it was USPS. Hoping it’s not USPS as they won’t deliver to the door just a pickup slip to pickup at local post office.
 
I have a 12/1 delivery date. What's a good guess VZ will ship it sooner? They're really good at bumping up dates. Last year I ordered the jet black 7+ on 11/19 with a delivery date of 11/30, but it was shipped out two days later on 11/21!

It could happen a few days earlier, although I wouldn't count on it.

It seems the 64GB size is not as in demand as the 256GB.

Yeah I ordered the 64GB space gray. Seems odd to go from 128GB down to 64, but currently I'm only using 34GB. iCloud and Spotify keeps it light.
 
Has anyone changed the card info on a preorder? When I pre ordered it didn't make me select any card, now they are telling me its a card I don't even recognize so Im wondering what my options are

Did you order off the website? If so, you have to input one of the cards they accept, unless you have a card saved to your account. I haven't ordered through the app yet but, I would think it would be the same.

I have a saved card which is the one I use to pay the bill but for some reason there is a mother card that I don't remember having and they will charge that one
