This is really just for fun...
Since iMacs and Mac Minis are rumored to be announced or released at Macworld, what do people think about the impact of this on a possible Mac Pro announcement? I'm starting to get a little worried...
Had Intel made good on their original shipping release, an announcement at MacWorld was possible. Shipments of systems likely to follow 8 weeks later. The Mac Pro was NEVER going to be announced at MacWorld. The chips aren't in production yet. We won't see a Mac Pro until late, LATE February at the EARLIEST and probably April/May.
Doesn't "Q1 2009" usually mean "March 2009"?Now, given the Q1 '09 release, May is looking to be realistic indeed.
Assuming they stick to this release schedule.![]()

WWDC 2009 is my prediction, or maybe a bit earlier. This is really just for fun...

Meh... just a i7 920, so nothing to get terribly excited over.
LOL!What a smart company. I was reading it was wondering about it, then saw that. Lo my ale, apparently I have a "server" next to me
That was my point. It's just a desktop dressed up in server case. I got a laugh out of it, and figured you did as well.PHILLY SON~
I was just seeing that their definition of a server is everyone else' definition of a desktop,
I wasn't saying you were. I just saw a chance to make you laugh.I wasn't messed up. Tonight on the other hand, let's just say "BRB."
*that*

When the chips haven't even gone into production yet, yes.
So when do you think Apple should start reducing the old MPs output?
